More media has been released.

Including the usual collectors edition variant of the game and of course a season pass, sounds more like monthly challenges but apparently those are DLC for this game heh.

Read that earlier, very similar to the past 2 tomb raider games. Cutscenes are a barage or quicktime events with instant death, it's like 2008 all over again

 

I'll buy it, but under specific conditions like I did for the previous two:

1) It's been out for about 1 year, all DLCs are out.
2) The "ultimate" version comes out after said year or so with everything included, and goes on sale for at least 25% off or something along the lines.

Then I'll buy it. It does look interesting though, I genuinely liked 2013's reboot a lot. And lately I've just started to play Rise (just at the beginning, maybe 1 hour in) and I'm really liking it. I just don't want to buy it full price. I'll wait for the main couple of patches to come in within the following months post release, along with its inevitable DLCs.

Looks like they're using GameWorks tech and working with NVIDIA for this one.

 

Well, this will pretty much be an instant buy.

 

If it supports again dx11 and windows 7/8/8.1 for the trash ones, it will be a bad game offering vomiting optimization, it will depend on that if I buy this pos.

I think he's blaming dx11 for the performance issues on launch. I could be wrong though, might need a translator in here

 

Never bought Rise on launch, so couldn't say on that, but im playing it now on Win 7, and its running superb.

 

Ran superb for me at launch with win 7 and dx11

 

It needs to support DX11, DX12 is not a fully viable option at this point. It's support is getting better, but it's still not where it needs to be.
Plus, Win7 is still the largest user base of Windows users (according to STEAM and a few other sources). So, why... why would they alienate a massive part of their potential sales but not supporting DX11?

 

Win 7 is old now,win 10 is miles better from all aspects
