Hi all, I've been experiencing some issues with my GPU's clocks, but before I send it to the laptop's service ,I would like to know what tools do the techs from the service use to diagnose a problem with a laptop's GPU? Do they use the same diagnostics tools which the laptop's manufacturers provide on their sites? The GPU is Nvidia GTX 960M,and it is a Lenovo laptop! From where can I download those tools? Please tell me! Thanks to all in advance! Best regards!
Just send it back to the manufacturer and be done with your numerous threads about it. Some highly experienced people have tried to guide you but it appears that the more tools you play with, the more of a mess you get in. https://forums.geforce.com/member/2142639/?tp=1&cp=1#forums https://forums.guru3d.com/search/342458/
It's possible each company has some sort of diagnostic software either build in the laptop (like Dell) or as a download for the tech. At my company, we only uses HP laptop so I had a USB stick setup with a HP's specific diagnostic software which I can use to test everything down to the battery of the laptop. Perhaps there might be something like that for Lenovo so you might need to a search on Lenova's site.
