FYI , I'm aware of an issue removing "C:\Program Files\AMD\CNext\CNext\QtQuick\Dialogs\qml\icons.ttf" that prevent the removal of this entire folder block.
So if some of you see this error on their log, do not fear, I'm working on this.

^^ is this path hardcoded (yes, I've an OCD with hardcoding)? How about using %ProgramFiles%? Don't have this problem, but..
    1. feels like you might need 2 reboots - first to get rid of registry entry so app doesn't lock this font, second to clear folder. Even scripting this whole thing with double reboot (powershell or cmd) doesn't seem simple (at glance).
    2. what exactly happens if this file left alone? I mean... let's say this font is in use and I do cd /d %programfiles%\AMD (and make sure I'm actually there) and follow up with rd . /q /s and then reboot? So this font isn't removed, but the rest is. What are those 'bad things' that come out of leaving it?

A release is near for the above mentioned issue.
A Release candidate is already available on the patreon page.
You have also the option to compile the code directly from the source
Expect a final release for everyone after the weekend.

Drats, I was gonna try the latest DDU version, but I'm on Win10 64bit v1803, so I guess I'll pass for the time being.

I'm sorta risk averse due to what's stated below, as I'd said, I'm on 1803 now....:
    • Windows XP up to Windows 10 Creator update 1703 (anything higher is at your own risk)

Mine comes clean after scanning it. I'm currently using Windows 10 build 17133.1 (1803).

I scanned my whole 17.0.8.5 folder with Windows Defender (latest) and Malwarebytes (latest) but was unable to detect any threat on Windows 10 (RS3) 1709-16299.371.
