yup, waste of $60 same with rainbow six, I invested a lot of money into the game and it seems like its money going to waste.

 

Didn't even try the first one. Ubisoft is great at marketing, but their main issue is they lie too much. So it's mostly so-called "unethical marketing".
Add on top of this Downgrades that are present in each and every Ubisoft title + frequently cut features + DRM infestation and all that under the 60$ sauce.

 

Looks like many people like Rainbow six multiplayer and the division. Look at the numbers playing them

PS: I don't like either of them. I play Battlefield and quake

 

most of the divisions player base is cheaters. I logged on last month everyday after work and its a dead game.

 

they make fake trailers and say its in-game footage when you know that's bullshit. look at rainbow six, you can tell it was a animation in blender or some crap. sound effects dont match whats going on in the trailer.

ever heard of buying other accounts for a cheap price on some Russian site. they do that crap with siege, kids can get rainbow six accounts for $1 off some russian website, idk what its called the youtuber that showed it blurred out the link. Game and everything.

 

Got the first game free when i bought a GTX970, and like BF1 and Destiny 2 i played about a few hours of each before in uninstalled all and never went back to any, i am just done with all these grind, repeat and rinse online FPS type games now, i have room for a few decent fun coop online games like Borderlands and Gears of war horde mode which are both a lot of fun, but that is about it these days.

 

prepare for fake "in-game" trailers and a shitty looking and performing game.

My friends will probably be as disappointed as last time (told them not to buy that crap) but so they did...

 

I play Division regularly still and it's not dead nor are cheaters a big issue. Every PvP game has them (which you needn't do in Division at all btw).

Comparing the current version (1.8) to launch state it's basically a different game now.
Destiny 2 could learn a lot from Division, or Bungie from Massive how to make a compelling looter-shooter.

Ofc you need to be in to that sort of thing. Division is basically an ARPG, not a run-of-the-mill cover shooter.

PS: Division has great graphics and runs great too. Not sure where the downgrade / crappy performance talk comes from?

I really like the the division granted the released game didnt look like the 2013 E3 video but none the less it looks awesome and plays really well. Its far from a dead game i get caught in queue from time to time.

 

Tbh graphicswise I don't see any downgrade vs. retail on the trailer. At least on PC version, don't know about consoles.
This was the first time I watched the trailer btw.

Also that obviously was an early gameplay concept, kind of mashup of current open zone / dark zone.
Overall feel is different and the trailer would suggest a more survival like gameplay perhaps but that's a matter of tastes I think, what you prefer.
Perhaps a more story-driven focus as well, which is a weak point of Division now, admittedly.

Combat looked awfully clunky / clumsy in the trailer versus what we have now imo.

 

What I would like by it is new AI characters, something more supernatural or some mutated creatures, same old badguys gets a bit boring after a while..
