Far Cry Primal Thread

hey guys, i wanna ask how did you find farcry primal gameplay? is it worth getting?

 

I would say yes.
Primal ended up being my favorite FarCry title. The change to a more melee focused combat system was great. And, with the setting and time period, the hunting of animals and crafting items fit so much better.

I really liked this one a lot.

 

the lightening and the fog is the best i ever seen in a game.outstanding!

 

This was on my "top 5 games I couldn't give a crap about" last year, however, at £12 and through boredom over the holidays, I took the plunge. I'll be playing it later today.

 

Recently (yesterday 08 Jan 2017).....the CPY hackers bypassed the denuvo security on Far Cry Primal.....

 

Unfortunately that doesn't make the game look to be any other than dull as dishwater.

Well at least dishwasher are fun for kittens. From the outside of course.

 

I enjoyed primal more then farcry 4 that was crap.
Farcry 3 was better however.

 

I would love them to make an actual sequel to Farcry... you know... the actual Farcry game.

 

Or... best in the series in a long time.

Sure, everyone have their own opinion. I for instance felt Primal is step back in everyway. I also cannot imagine a Far Cry game without guns.

 

And I personally want FarCry to continue with this style.
Stepping away from the militia style and heavy reliance on guns. Like... I would love a FarCry set in medievil times. That would be awesome.

 

What about a Farcry game where the only weapon is The Penetrator... that could be fun... it would be futuristic and everyone wears pvc...

 

FC died with FC2. Rest is just pure name milking garbage. Typical for ubisoft.. Asscreed anyone? I bet we will see Watchdogs doing the same, WD2 is already too much for me personally.

FC4 was the worst, don't feel like playing Primal at all, I rather play The Elder Scrolls or Primal Carnage or similar game if I must go in "prehistoric" era.

Replaying now for 2nd time and gosh, the Batari fight is so bad that I wish somebody died because of it. If I remember correctly the last mission fight is similar, just bloody awful. It's like the player is level 10 and the boss is level 60, although the player has alone pretty much changed everything in this part of the world. All it takes is a "heavy" doing his hardest hit with his club to die and the boss can eat hundreds of arrows.

 

things i don t like about boss fighting in general, i can suspend disbelief but not that much

 

@Kaleid lol yeah those fights were ridiculous, had to abuse line of sight if I remember correctly to get them done.

 

I have no idea how anyone can survive playing on survival on consoles, I gave up after 3 tries on PC.... but luckily there are trainers so I could go back into the world again.
