this game just needs a good i7, thats all

 

My Ryzen 1500x is doing fine in this game, but i'll be getting a Ryzen 1700 this month.

Not going with Intel again until they get their sh*t together.

 

So I just got this game via Humble Monthly and am really enjoying it so far but I’m having a major issue with it. Every 5 or so minutes I get a heavy stutter, basically looks like the game freezes with the audio continuing, then after 2-5 seconds it’s back to normal. When this happens during action it’s a big problem. I’m having no problem keeping the frame rate above 60 at 1080p. I did try changing vsync settings to fast sync and capping at 60 in nvidia profile inspector and that seemed to help some but it still happens every once in a while. Any ideas on how to stop this from happening?

Running a 6700K and 980Ti, neither are particularly taxed by running this at 1080p60.

 

what do u mean their crap together, my i7 6700k since 2016 has barely any game get past the 60% usage mark, even the most competitive ones, so i don t understand ur comment here....intel is and will always be at nb1

 

i have no problem running this game with i7 6700k and 970, smooth sailing at 1440p 60fps

 

Yeah me too, except when these random stutter/freezes happen.

I really don’t understand why people bother to comment with “well my game runs fine.” Well that’s great, but mine doesn’t, and I’m asking for solutions from people that might have had the same issue.
