Whatever should it be, M$ crossing many borders forcing people to switch to Win10. Whie M$ might be responsible for failure upgrades, it should restore data and provide new hardware if needed.
Money shouldn't be involved it in.

No, we got 10+ Sandy Bridge laptops. They all crashing dwm.exe at boot. You have to boot them 2-3 times until you finally get to desktop. And not only SB. Westmere also having the problem.

 

Dont use relatives mate or the kids will be really ugly!

 

Are the 10+ NB using sandy possibly the same model? Three people ather than me have sandy bridge CPU's hat have no problem with W10 and iGPU. Not say you aren't having the issue but it isn't strictly because of SB. Could be a BIOS issue IIRC W10 does not always play nice with non-UEFI.

1709. Looking on MS forum there are tones of threads on HD3000 and black screen issue on Windows 10.

 

Given the length of time between the "free" upgrade ending and the lawsuit being filed, I'll be surprised if it doesn't get thrown out of court. Hell, with him trying to get $600M USD, the judge has enough reason to dismiss the case without considering the time frame.

Sounds like how I was "dual booting" Windows and Linux.... except mine were

black sata cable = Windows
