Sounds like AMD commercial - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cool'n'Quiet
Aside from the jokes Zotac are making good boards since very long time last couple of generations their cooling solutions are very good...definitely not a bad choice. ;)

Agree with Zotac cards, have owned only GTX1080 AMP which has been great card although that card run hotter for my liking but that's only in rendering where GTX1080 has been sandwiched with Titan X SC with Raijintek Morpheus II cooler

Friend have Zotac AMP Extreme which is lot better and that card is running lot cooler than my old one

Palit or Gainward are great cards as well, but as above I would go with card with longest warranty

EVGA I prefer but my old GTX1080 from EVGA is one poor OC'er

    Hope this helps

    Thanks, Jura

changed from a Strix 1080 to a Strix 1080ti cos I promised a friend I would sell him my Strix 1080 for a very good price (price of a Bnew 1070) since he was building a new system

Anyway, This is stock Asus Strix 1080ti settings (OC mode)..Is this score on par with other Strix 1080tis? ( Saw one with an 8700k and scored 11400....WOW)

    Running an i7 7820x OCed to 4.5Ghgz

Loving my Asus ROG Strix OC 1080ti phanteks water cooled. Asus own GPU app works very well and is very stable for costum clocks, very cool running.
My new i7 8700k on the other hand runs hotter than my i7 6700k... not happy

The core systems are pretty new: PSU, graphic card, CPU, mother board, always tweeking the watercooling. Bought a riser cable from Amazon. I am looking for a new case just for shits and giggles, but I am so uninspired by all the horribly ventilated midtowers out there. I hope the trend will change in 2018

    Hi there

Is yours case EVOLV ATX? If yes then really I would recommend modify front and top panel at least as stock panels are quite restrictive, friend have this case and he modified front and top panel on this case and his temperatures dropped by 5-7°C

In yours case you are limited by radiator space and fans used plus ambient temperature,as rule of thumb is 120mm per every component plus 120mm per component if you are OC, but usually 2*360mm or 360mm and 240mm radiator should suffice

Have look I have run 3*GPUs all OC plus 5820k or 5960x both OC to 4.5Ghz with 360mm plus 240mm radiators both 60mm thick and my temperatures never been a problem for me

Good choice of radiators plus fans can help a lot plus if once case have poor airflow is very hard to make case flow more without modification, wish more reviewers pays more attention to this when they review case because more and more are putting their CPU or GPU under water

    Hope this helps

    Thanks, Jura

Thanks..my case is the Entho Pro M not the EVOLV. Well ventilated front and top, much better than most of the all glass planel fanfare at the moment out there. Yes its a bit tight on space. I think a 120 rad ill fit on top but. But I invested in i78600K and motherboard. I might consider investing in a better ventilated M-ATX case and then a 120rad.

    Hi there

I thought so you have EVOLV case and not Pro M, Pro M should be OK there as you said already that case do have good ventilated top and front

Did you tried add more fans at top if this does help with better temperatures

If budget allows then I would suggest get Magicool G2 360mm radiator, these radiators cost around £39 or this one Darkside LP360 which I think is very similar to HWLabs GTS360 or rather LS360
    https://www.mayhems.net/collections/radiators/products/darkside-triple-lp360-extra-slim-radiator

    https://www.overclockers.co.uk/magicool-g2-slim-radiator-16-fpi-360mm-wc-024-ma.html

Have used both radiators and both perform pretty good and for fans, budget one Noiseblocker BlackSilent Fan XLP £5.99 per fan or Arctic Cooling F12 are good budget fans

    Hope this helps

    Thanks, Jura

Your score seems low..1080ti on air sub 2100 are getting 11.2-3k GPU and even 5820k are exceeding 10k total score :)
1080Ti on some peeps are getting 11700+ GPU score :)

Edit: For SkaylakeX there are two additional settings you have to push 1st memory speed and 2nd Mesh ~3-3.2Ghz ....

For stock then seems fine, not mentioned in his post as the CPU is @4.5 ...

Yep... been wondering already if I should buy AMD GPUs and keep them just for the sake, probably more money to make in short time than with their stocks :D

Man I do not know how you keep trying to get higher scores on these benchmarks with Nvidia cards.
GPU boost by Nvidia has sucked all the fun out of overclocking and doing benchmarks for me and many others I bet.
Hell maybe we will get a 1080TI bios editor and I might mess with my 1080Ti cards someday.

Speaking of which, is there any info on something like that? Failed to find anything solid.
