Hi guys, since I got the game I've been experiencing a very annoying stuttering during the cutscenes, especially when the camera pans from one point to another... Is there any fix for this?

I remember this issue when the game launched, but I thought subsequent patches fixed it. I haven't noticed it since they released patch 1.03 if I remember correctly.

I've always had it, pre and post patch unfortunately. I tried a few workarounds, like disabling Gsync and locking the framerate to 60 fps (honestly I can't play without gsync anymore), or lowering some details, but it's still there, even when I brought the resolution to 720p... -.-'

I start thinking my CPU (6700k@4.5) is not beefy enough.

Please, tell me your settings, I'd like to try the game with those and see if it happens.

I just use maxed out settings, at 1440p. It's at the highest it will go. I have a 6900K CPU at 4.2ghz, and 32GB of DDR4 3400. This game seems to like fast RAM, especially on dual channel memory CPUs like yours.

So what kind of RAM are you using? Here's a good example of what I'm talking about. A guy did a comparison between his RAM running at 2133 and 3000, and the difference was huge. Up to 20 FPS at times in Alexandria:

Thanks for answering. I have 16GB of RAM @3.2GHz, brand G Skill, model RipJaws V. You think I could squeeze them further?

I also think it likes > 4 cores and quad channel memory as well. I have had zero issues with everything maxed at 3440x1440p. No stutters at all.

If they are the Samsung B die chips, then definitely. I have G.SKill TridentZ and their stock clock is 3.2ghz, but they will do 3.4ghz easily with no bump in voltage, and just a slight relaxation of the timings.

However, since your RAM is already running at 3.2ghz, I'm pretty sure your problem isn't RAM speed or RAM capacity. Like you said earlier, it might just be your CPU. This game hammers quad cores big time, and the cut scenes are usually when games are loading stuff in the background.

Yeah, 200 MHz won't make the difference... As I was thinking and as you wrote, the problem is the game loading the assets in background, that's why I get the weird stuttering even at 60 frames. Well, I won't change CPU for one game that otherwise runs pretty fine.

I havent played AC since the original. I enjoyed it, so not sure why I didn't keep buying the following releases.

I decided to get back into it, and give Origins a try. Holy smokes. I have to say, I'm LOVING it. Gameplay, storyline, great visuals...it's got it all. Runs good too, with all settings cranked.

What level are you guys at?

I'm at level 20 - just over half way done the game, although it's getting a tad boring and repetitive with the needed side quests to boost your level for main quests.

37, and yes it gets repetitive with side quests

"Blah blah blah, they're at a hideout.. Go there and kill people and possibly rescue someone. Kthx"

And at level 20.. Oh lord.. You have a ton more side quests left.

They weren't slaves, but workers with a lot of privileges actually.

(Aliens built the pyramids though, it's obvious)

    I have a glitch?
Great game.. I've played the all now. Love the fact you can just ride anywhere and there is always something to raid, steal or kill (!)
But at level 28 now and I and only have one of my three health bars... Is there and issue here?

Oh found the answer, I'm using a cursed weapon....
