So you are receiving a black screen even with the 1080, i was receiving with the 970.
I with the new drivers will fix this problem. :(

This "black screen" mentioned above is a Windows 1709 issue and it happens on all WDDM 2.3 drivers. It can be fixed by doing and Alt-Tab or Alt-Enter twice.

I went back to 388.31 , the DPC issues do not happen anymore ...... such a CRAPPY driver.. 388.71

we need the 390 Drivers ASAP . and they need to fix the HDR and changing resolution bugs. the driver always tries to set Dynamic Range to FULL when it's Default Color settings for some reason when I change resolution, so I have crushed blacks. it's randomly , but it happens 60% of the times, and I need to click on the little radio selection from NVCP and it is fixed.

Default color settings are set by Windows, not the driver.

388.43 is still the best performing current driver.

Seems like many confuse Windows 10 (and ONLY Win 10, 7 don't have such) issues with -this- gpu driver...

Does anyone with HDR TV LG OLED 55C or any other model have the resolution 2560x1440 works fine with HDR ? because it worked before, but now it makes the game all pink and grey. only 1080p and 4k works properly.

Anyone knows what is the issue with this resolution ?

Think I'll go back to this one too, I don't really have any issue with this 388.71 atm, but I noticed 388.43 felt snappier.

3 days after the rollback and everything seems to be fine with t eh 388.59, if you want to avoid black screens don't install the 388.71.

I just got a ROG STRIX 1070 Ti in my first desktop in 3 years and grabbed the 24" version of that as it was cheaper and 1080 @ 27" would look gawd awful. Let me know how it looks when you get it. I figured 1080x1920 would be best at this point to lock in 144hz on all of my games instead of 2k and there is always DSR plus my ultra low input latency 2k HDTV for higher res gaming. :)

Hope you like yours and I'll be home tomorrow to try mine out! I hope the 125% sRGB colour gamut VA quantum dot panel technology is awesome! It seems some people think it is science's gift to gaming and others don't like it at all. I hope I am in the former camp.

Hello guys! The latest branch of drivers 388.XX wasn't the best like older ones but more or less are ok. 388.71 is good, not any serious issues so far and stability seems pretty solid. BTW does anyone have any info about the arrival date on the new branch 390.XX? The only thing i found is that there won't be 32bit OS support from now on, but thats a plus as nobody running a serious machine is using this old 32bit architecture and since RAM usage has grown past the 4GB a long time ago i think its time to move on (So does nvidia :) ). Soo do we have any info about the upcoming releases? Thanks in advance.

Yeah I was a bit skeptic about it too, pixelsize will be tiny bit larger, but I wanted bigger so the curve would be more immersive..

I will DSR too when ever I can, 2880x1620 is my ideal target.. But I know the games that have trouble now will still be @ 1080p..

Will let you know soon. Probably tomorrow or the day after.

Well guys, maybe it's good for you because you don't play in HDR or watch movies in HDR or watch movies in 3D or play games in 3D ... so yes , added all the other bugs you might didn't notice it might work fine. but it's a driver bug feast overall, you just didn't encounter it on your normal use.

I was playing around with DSR to make the 24" version look better (even though it looks pretty darn good and I am very happy with the monitor) and found that in order to constantly be over 100 fps with most things cranked in a lot of games I have to keep it to 1920*1080 with the 1070 Ti. I'd rather the silky smooth frames over the resolution at this point and will just play it on my 4K HDTV if I am looking for resolution over FPS.

I hope you enjoy yours as I am really blown away by mine, although 27" seems like just too much for that resolution and I'd rather save the cash and have better IQ / performance. Let me know how it goes for you!
