LG just announced their first 21: 9 monitor with a resolution of 5120x2160 pixels. The IPS based screen is 34-inches diagonal is HDR capable with a peak brightness of 600cd/m².... LG to release 34in wide screen monitor with resolution of 5120x2160 pixels
Why would you want variable refresh rate for professional production purposes. No, this is not gaming panel.
LG also have a 38" 3840x1600 (21:9) display which I think is more practical pixel-wise and size-wise imo.
Would love this ! <---- * Lightroom user * Photoshop user * Premiere user * Eclipse user (programming) * Generaly power-user Current monitor: ASUS PG348. It's awesome ... but yea, moar pixels would be really nice !
That's good news, it means Asus or Acer will soon be able to get that panel and we should see some Ultra Wide 4K Gsync monitor popping up. Been playing at DSR 5160 x 2160 on my X34 recently and can't wait to see a base panel doing that.
@Caesar You do realize your post has zero relevance to this. Monitor posted by HH is not meant for gaming. And 144hz 1080p Ultrawide with @ 34 inches is pathetic. And sitting that close to the monitor completely diminishes the reason for having anything above 29 inch ultrawide anyways...........
Very nice! But where's the 4k, 32 inch, 144hz, g-sync (or freesync) version? Had to say it, maybe if It's said enough it will materialise...
Hilbert missed mention LG will release also QHD 34GK950G gamming monitor with G-sync and hopefully high refresh rate. Thats one I will be looking for.
