These enhanced video features are great for people who haven't already had a monthly data cap imposed on them by the ISPs. For those who have the data cap and are "cord cutters", 4K video streams (around 25Mbps required) with HDR (add a tad more) will burn right through your monthly data allotment in no time. If you watch the 4K content, prepare to pay the overages.

There are still lots of ISP with data caps, especially in the states. Its worse for phones.
Xfinity here has 1TB cap, and its easy to burn through with 300mb service. I used to use my phone all the time with usb tether since its unlimited to make large downloads when xfinity was 300gb limit. Was easy to burn though that with a 10 year old on youtube and an ex on netflix.
Their 1GB fiber has no data cap but is 150+ a month.
Where I live now, $85 a month, 1GB fiber, and no data cap. Used 500GB in one day. No notice, no torrents though either.

Wow... Data caps on fixed line internet. That's sounds like something you'd see in an underdeveloped country.

Can't think of any 1st world country that has data caps on fixed lines and isn't the States.
