How's the game runnin these days? Crashes? Reboots? I wanted to hold off on purchasing until a few patches were released but I don't know if I can wait any longer.

There will probably be an update released next couple of weeks. When the first real DLC releases.

But, I haven't had any issues in the game. Frame rate is holding a steady 60fps. Seems very stable for me, but... that's just me. There are people experiencing issues. But, it's hard to tell if those issues are tied to the game... their systems... or what.

What resolution are you playing at?
I'm running all settings at High at 1080p. The game holds 60fps damn near the entire time, there's maybe one area that I see drops into the mid 50s. But, it's in New Orleans when you're up really high, overlooking the massive map in front of you.

Pfft! You are all babies! *drawls on long, smoking, pipe*

In my day, we didn't even have a 'Save' function! You played a whole game in one sitting, and if you died once, you were ******!

Manic Mansion, Head Over Heels, Sabrewulf, Mission Impossible, Wizball... kids these days! You don't know what hard is! *reaches around to rub sore gamer's back*

I completed Wizball once. Once. Four hours in one sitting. Can't leave and come back, you lose your lives, that's it! Start from the beginning. It took months of play to get the skill to complete the game!+

*throws shoe at your head grumpily* Now git of my lawn!

+ True story. On the C64. One fateful Saturday morning. Somewhere in the annals of time, in The Great Book that records everyone's deeds who ever lived, my name is there -- and next to it: Completed Wizball. WHAT A procreating LEGEND.

Just finished it. Awesome game overall. Good gameplay, good storyline, and good visuals. Runs flawlessly at ultra settings.

    Really enjoyed it.

The DLC is out for PC. Little over a 5 gig download.

    But... one thing got fixed...

    Before patch...

    After patch...

Texture detail on the weapon models is much more detailed.

Possibly... the sharpening filter in the options menu.
I've got it turned down, as I strongly dislike an overly sharpened image. I prefer a slightly softer image.

But, I was referring to the low resolution textures on the weapons. They've been fixed with this latest update.

Interesting, wonder if that's only for the DLC because none of the base game files were updated.

EDIT: Ah, because they never updated the beta branch, now it's patching. :)

I just finished it a little while ago.
Took around 3 hours, maybe just a little under. But, it's definitely lighter on the story then the main game. But, what is there is presented in a very campy, almost Gindhouse style. I loved it.

Anyone noticing some projector shadows only popping in for certain objects when you're only like 10 feet away from them?

My windows crashed and I lost all my saved games. I was pretty far and don't feel like starting all over again.

The save games I could download don't work either for some reason. :/

Use a linux live disk and get them off the hard drive.

Don't you use Steam Cloud saves?

Yeah it’s been broken since launch, I’ve been using a custom res of 3200x1800 when playing on my TV and vsync works fine, very strange that it’s broken at 4K.
