Ctrl+O and Alt+R do nothing for me in either Rocket League or Redout (only two games I've tried so far, dx9 an dx11 respectively iirc).

Was using 17.11.2, uninstalled, DDUed in safe mode then express install of new driver including relive.

 

I don't even have ReLive installed and Overlay is working fine for me

Default key shortcut to bring monitoring on is "Ctrl+Shift+O".

Does someone knows how the new Freesync option on game profiles work? Pre 17.12.x there was just the standard freesync on/off switch, now theres a "AMD Freesync" option on game profiles with "off, on, amd optimized" as options.

I've been testing this optimized setting and apparently it improved freesync functionality in a few games. Some games don't really like freesync and I used to see minor tearing here and there, specially on the bottom part of the screen, but now seems to be flawless or very close to it.

Also as some have said it already, Enhanced sync + Freesync does feel really low latency, although I don't have benchs to prove it.

The good is the gaming/computing toggle now works first time, the bad is Windows downgraded me, so bloody annoying.

 

Does new features work on gcn 1.0 cards? I have 7950 and overlay doesnt work, relive too but it worked before. Can somebody confirm that it work? I may try to flash r9 280 bios if it does change anything.

 

It works in all of cards. Use fullscreen.

 

isnt the workload option supposed to be available for 390x cards, I seen in release notes on older driver it list 390 for it.

this drivers seem to make my system more overall responsive.

 

Hey guys i wanted to share my experience, I was having issues with the overlay not showing with alt+r, so i used the c++ redist from user burf rebooted, and now it works in everygame with no issue. This worked for me, try it yourself.

My guess is that the new crimson drivers need these redist files to work properly.

 

Anyone using the OSD have "GPU Power" showing up on non vega cards?

Nope.

 

Instant system freeze when launching ReLive, only way around it, was to run DDU to clean my system and only install the driver, which renders this driver pointless.

Right I've done a little further digging into this problem as changing video settings is hit and miss with this but I've found that it occurs during HD playback and I've come to the conclusion that it must be a DRM issue (which other people have come to the conclusion of as well https://community.amd.com/thread/221927?start=105&tstart=0 )

Anyone else having issues with Netflix or other NetTV services (Amazon Instant Video apparently experiences this also).
