@schmidtbag Usually we're never forced to have Relive before.
Altough in this driver for some reason it installs the overlay and the relive by default.

With luck they will offer it to be optional again..

Anyone having buzzing sound coming out of speakers after closing some game, video player or something like that? Played a video VLC, closed it, buzzing starts. It stops buzzing later, but sometimes it's 10-15 seconds, sometimes it's longer.

 

It may still be optional, I haven't tried this driver yet. But it's more than just Relive. Even if you uncheck half the stuff on the installer, you're still getting a few hundred MB of crap and a bunch of background processes. It's not that my PC can't handle it (it does just fine), but I just find it all unnecessary.

 

I wasn't forced to install the ReLive, when it came up to install, i just told it to skip it, as usual.

This is on Win 7 64bit btw.

 

Latest Win10x64 here, did clean install and relive option was presented, skipped it.
By the way this is the first time I have seen red screen of death like ever. Crashed once ~5 min into the game, then 2 hours smooth gameplay, dunno...
Also enh sync + overlay is unusable, makes game literally pause every second, remove one of them and butter smooth

 

I did a clean install (Seeing how this was a new driver branch and all it might have been time.) and yeah the driver does present you the option to skip ReLive.

However the services are still installed and started whenever Radeon Settings is first started so you get two additional services running in the background even if ReLive in Radeon Settings shows as not installed.

 

Cant enable perfomance monitoring to show up in Alt+R...

Any help?

So, the question, how is FH3 loading times this time around?

 

Oh, I see I'm not the only one bothered by amddvr and amdow processes I had never asked.
It's so stupid you have to disable both StartDVR and StartCN tasks to get rid of them.

Alternatively, if you also want to make use of control panel you can just rename C:\Program Files\AMD\CNext\CNext\dvrcmd.exe to anything else, and you should be done too.

Now that enhanced sync should be supported by all GCN GPUs and should work fine on every application that doesn't use any sort of low-level DXGI presentation control or any advanced directshow/media foundation synchroonization, what's the point of the bugged FRTC?

 

Crimson now detects MS Store Games.
Forza 7 now has a profile. However, Forza 7 Icon is just a generic icon with a yellow key lock on it.

Yup, you need to make your own Custom -> Delete ALLLLL but the Drivers

All is fixed, i can Play all my Stuff NP
BF1, SW, FH3, R6, M&M H7 etc..

 

I have Relive OFF -> to Get ovelay working you need to shft+ctrl+O (FPS counter etc.) first then ctrl+R
YES it is working NP & Game like BF1 still kickin' Great Frame Times, No-LAG

Also Side note: it is working Best with ZEN

 

Problem is, MS and Turn 10 are dicks with FH3. The game, even the icon are effing encrypted.

 

It works only in Fullscreen mode it seems..

I was trying to bring it on in windowed mode games.

 

FH3 runs like complete crap for me.
Stutters like crazy, stops for a second at times, then goes to normal. Fps is way lower then normal. Most of the time @ 2560x1080 on high settings I avg 70-80 fps. Im barely pulling 40-50ish. Ichill also doesnt work with FH3. I turned vsync off, ehanced sync, same issue. Forza Apex works perfectly.
