    PC ADVANCED SETTINGS AND FEATURES
    Uncapped Framerate
We at MachineGames are huge PC players, and all of id Software’s games have very strong PC DNA. So it’s important for us to make sure the PC version of the game is as solid as any console version. That’s why we built the game on idTech 6, which also allows for uncapped framerate – one of the features we’re most excited about.

    Aspect Ratios
With such a wide range of tastes in aspect ratios among PC gamers, it was important for us to ensure compatibility with as many as possible. Here are a few of the big ones, but it’s by no means all of them.
    • 4:3
    • 16:9
    • 16:10
    • 21:9 (ultra widescreen)
    Resolution
    Supports 4K resolution

    Field of View Slider
    70 FOV to 120 FOV

    Advanced Visual Settings
    • Lights
    • Shadows
    • Directional Occlusion
    • Reflections
    • Decals
    • Motion Blur
    • Image Streaming
    • Volumetric Quality
    • Decal Filtering
    • Deferred Rendering
    • Chromatic Aberration
    • Depth of Field
    • Resolution Scaling
    Vulkan
When we started development of Wolfenstein II, the choice of graphics API for PC was a simple one. DOOM had already set the stage for what could be done with Vulkan and we wanted to take it to the next level.

Using Vulkan when developing has allowed us to utilize the power of AMD's VEGA graphics chips in ways that were not possible before, giving us fine grained control over the performance and feature set of the GPU without having to sacrifice artistic intent. Combined with the flexibility of AMD's hardware, Vulkan gives us the artistic freedom to deliver Wolfenstein without compromise.

    Controls
    • Full keyboard and mouse rebinding options
    • Separate controller and mouse/keyboard sensitivity settings
    Anti-Aliasing Options
We have a range of anti-aliasing options including, but not limited to:
    • TAA
    • FXAA
    • SMAA
    • TSSAA
Colorblind Modes In a first-person shooter where every objective marker and crosshair placement is crucial, colorblind modes are helpful for many gamers. Here are the three modes we included:
    • Protanopia
    • Deuteranopia
    • Tritanopia

Thank you for making me smile (doesn't happen very often) the high field of view settings should definitely keep me from getting nauseated.

Judging by the specs, anyone thinking they were going to get Doom like performance out of this game, is in for a rude awakening.

The visual fidelity is going to be much greater than it was in Doom. I expect AMD to have the performance lead at launch, but for NVidia to catch up quickly afterwards.

    I don't agree.
Wolf 2's specs compared to DOOM's is very similar to comparing Wolf:TNO to RAGE's.

And really, I've been given no reason to doubt MachineGames. Both TNO and TOB ran great for me, and still do.
So, I hold on to hope that TNC runs great as well.

I am 100% this is going to rock the cock, I loved the previous games and everything I've seen of this one looks incredible. What a month or so of gaming.... Evil Within 2, South Park, Destiny 2, Wolfenstein etc, crazy.

I didn't say it wasn't going to run great. I just said that if you're expecting similar performance out of TNC that you got in Doom, you're in for a rude awakening. Doom can easily stay in the triple digit framerate territory the vast majority of the time on a strong rig. While the particle and effects works are exceptional in Doom, the environments and models aren't very high in polygon count for the most part. TNC on the other hand has a significant leap in character model and environment detail, as well as particle and effects compared to Doom. So yeah, I think that TNC will be much harder to maintain in triple digit framerate territory.

I truly hope everyone buys this game instead of pirates it. The devs really deserve our support for making an SP game which doesn't require any stupid MP with lootboxes.

Unfortunately, SP games are the most likely when it comes to being pirated.

I'm sure it will sell well enough, it's all down to how the level of development and marketing costs are and what the expectations are. I can't say I will be helping matters though, as I rarely buy games at full price, especially SP ones, but hopefully plenty of others do.
