Yeah if browsing with a phone the new layout is a definite improvement.

I like the dark theme. Getting used to the rest. Looks more up to date. But does not look like the Guru3d I have come to know and love. I'll get used to it. Adapt or dissolve, right?

I had to change it back to default as the site felt alien in the dark plus it also reminded me of that other site? Hardwareheaven? Or used to. Driverheaven? I remember it being dark and blue. Guru3D will always be blue and grey-ish white to me. Plus it has a nice new lick of paint now. No longer feels like 2001. :D

Is the "Occupation" issue in the profiles going to be changed, or should we update our profiles manually?

    Hi Everyone,

Is it just me or is anyone else receiving an error in the Android app when attempting to access the Forums (via the Forums link at the top right of the app)?

    Error is:

    Error:

    failed to get get posts

And i have the retry or cancel buttons below. Does this functionality no longer work via the app?

I've deleted and re-installed the Guru3d App on my Xperia without any luck. Running Marshmallow. The News and Downloads subsections work just fine.

You're not the only one. The Android app will most likely need to be updated to properly work with the new forums. Have patience, as of right now they're still working out the issues from the migration. Give it time, and I'm sure everything will be working as it should.

Correct, the APP however is getting less supported. I might do an update in the near future.

The dark theme reminds me of HardOCP, I like that site, but for Guru3D I do prefer it in the default style that we have now.

Darn, seems this new forum is adding lots of hoops to jump through opposed to the old vBulletin board, hope it all gets sorted out!

If you hover over your member name top right > Your Content, you can see all the threads you've posted in

I'm in the same boat, so far so good. It's a learning curve but that's good.

Could you tweak the show post banner over an ignored user's post in the dark theme?

That's Quicker as HH has noted, and you can 'right click' on 'Your content' and open in another TAB but it's still a bit cumbersome than just seeing an icon next to a thread that shows you've posted in one! If that's how the forum works then it's a cock eyed way of seeing your posts!

Can I ask 'why' the forums needed to change in the first place?

There is an icon to show you've posted in a thread from the new posts page and that particular forum, it shows your avatar here

So am i going to have to do the "mark everything as read" thing every time i'm on the website, rather then how it was before, where when you joined the site, it would show you what was new since last you visited, and even if you didn't view a thread, it wouldn't show that thread as new when you joined next time if there was nothing new posted since last visit?

If so, that's kinda annoying, i would like it to automatically show me only what is new since last i visited, even if i didn't view a specific thread last time, but oh well i guess.
