    Plain design.

I mean I know the card isn't just about looks.

    It's a uniform/clean look at least.

Just looks like another shoe-box design...4 corners top bottom 8 total.

What's killing me is, AMD keeps putting out minor revisions that are only slightly faster GPU wise. They get people so excited and they find out it only performs slightly faster in games.

I'm glad they have Ryzen though.

Only question is....will it compete with the 1080 Ti and actually match performance? These inside tests I don't trust.

I'm on 1080 SLI and would not consider an upgrade for years. I personally feel, and I know others do also, that hardware is in a stage now where quality and future-proofing is becoming more important. Not upgrading for only 15% improvement we wont notice.

It is really not so important. Competing in entire price range is nice, but it really does not matter from financial point of view.

Same way as releasing late. If I am to buy new GPU next month and there is 12 month old GPU from nVidia and 12 days old GPU from AMD, I'll still pick one that I like better at time of purchase.

@those who have need to comment on OnnA's "FYIs" unrelated to topic: Did you notice that off-topic FYI had infinitely times higher value than your complaint post having no informative value at all?
At least try to be on topic when you make posts about someone not keeping on it :D

Back to topic: I wonder about those additional Chips, are they mobile by chance?

    The Radeon Holocube

The device on the right is said to be ‘powered by Radeon Software’. It appears to display some kind of graphs. Well maybe it’s not a device, but then how would it be powered by Radeon Software? I guess we are going to learn more soon.

    AMD Radeon:

Presenting for the first time at #LTX2017: the one-of-a-kind Radeon #RXVega & Holocube, enabled by Radeon Software.

The Holocube was pictured together with Radeon RX Vega 64 Limited Edition, a new graphics cards powered by Vega 10 graphics processor. AMD and LinusTechTips made the first unboxing at #LTX2017 earlier today.

We expect to learn more details after Capsaicin SIGGRAPH, a launch event that will not be live-streamed…

Not suprising , If its decent, there will still be 5,000+ angry people with extremely unrealistic expections crapping on it online within 5minutes

I remember when press event/tech conference livestreams got 50 people watching that just wanted to know the technical info/pricing.

These days there seem to be a very large portion that are functionally illiterate and serve no purpose other than to be excited or disappointed if they feel the product was good or bad based on the emotional reaction of the crowd.

Now I understand why AMD is not doing a Live Stream on Sunday

This is so true, we don't even know what going on with AMD minds.

This whole RX Vega launch is reminiscent to the HD 2900 XT.

Is it just me, or someone did notice:
    - They claim that inside card is liquid reservoir, which looks identical to GPU cooling block.
    - But why is there 2nd reservoir on radiator?

    AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 use 8pin + 6pin, AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 use 8pin + 8pin
