    Oh? Hmm seems AMD is just being a bit vague or trying to focus a bit too much on Polaris I guess then but that's good then that there's one less thing that's exclusive to newer GPU's for some arbitrary reason. :)
    (Well it should but it seems to not be 100% working yet for some systems, figures.)

    It's color and hue settings after all, should be standard and it's taken a little bit too long to get them back to the Radeon Settings software but it seems the legacy settings are finally being retired.
    (They're still installed with this driver though but I don't know if they serve any purpose now, someone said they could be accessed via the Eyefinity settings.)

    What exactly do you mean by power state control? You can adjust freq and voltage for each power state, but you can't edit power state switching.

    Since I'm stuck with Wattman for OCing, is there a tip for making the VRAM speed more granular? From 1420Mhz it jumps directly to 1435Mhz whereas my card is stable at 1430 only.

    Hi. I have an r7 360 and enable radeon chill. I have only one game that support that future and it's world of tanks. But in games wattman profile there is no fps limit's...Anyone have similar problem?

    When i activate it fps can reach only 40 fps. I use a freesync monitor (range 48-75).

    How can i set the limits from 48-75 to radeon chill?

    Thx in advanced.

    It is funny. Driver I did not expect to be released (since I expected next one to be for Vega) caused pretty uprising.
    Even more so, since uprising is caused by people angry that they did not receive features they did not even expect to get in 1st place.

    New sync? Great, who did promise it to me? Not AMD. Not for this month.
    Color profiling back? Not expected to be back again that soon. I do use windows per monitor profiles anyway.
    Shader cache for DX9? Good, but which DX9 game truly needs improved loading times or other boosts?

    Another bump in draw calls? Why? Probably Vega needs it.
    ...

    At this point I wonder if I should try to hack-in this new sync or simply wait for Driver After Vega.

    rainbow texture glitch still not fixed in fallout 4. Yes, it's a drive issue, since to fix it you need to restart the system.
    And no, extracting the full textures archives does not fix nothing but completely broke the mip-maps loadings since the invalidation of the ba2 archives requires to load all the things directly in memory (and since it's about 30GB of "unzipped" textures you cannot load them properly) which cause bad texture streaming, more texture popping and stuttering.

    edit: with this driver is getting worst :\ at least I can finally enable freesync on ultrawide.

    nothing special. Maybe if I had a weaker CPU in related to my GPU... Anyway I noticed that Chill in GTA V works f:banana:ing great. I'm so suprised but I didn't predict that.

    For people ... Hue etc is working for both my GPUs RX 480 modded to 580 and HD 7770 in the same system. Not gonna bother with screen shots....but yes it is working.

    Ok, @Unwinder stated that MSI AB worked if run in unofficial mode but default mode would need a SDK update for a fix to be implemented (new compatibility).

    here is my screen when applying clocks via MSI AB (unofficial mode) to 17.7.2 (27.7.2017 .exe) : [​IMG]

    As you can see, profile is created & applied, yet no clock adjustment takes place...

    Tried to force clocks along with clockblocker with the same result...

    seems MSI AB is completely foooked right now through no fault of anybody (well, progress is the real villain here :p )...

    Just thought I would give a headsup with regard to MSI AB...

    Fyi : I run Asus R9 390 / Win10 home x64 (fully updated)...

    I found that installing the High Resolution Textures cured the rainbow texture glitch in Fallout 4 for me, though I admit it's not the ideal solution. While it probably is a driver issue, it's something Bethesda definitely broke in one of their updates rather than being AMDs fault. IIRC it was after Beth added some Nvidia gameworks option, though I can't remember which one.

    Welp. No enhanced sync for the non current chips :(

    Not surprised. But I am surprised by the fact that MSI Afterburner no longer hooks the gpu properly, clock setting for core and mem don't stick, Power and temp limits are greyed out entirely. But for some odd reason voltage DOES stick and so does custom fan profile.
    But if I try to use wattman to oc clocks and power limit DO stick, but I can only change the vram voltage, or undervolt the core, not increase it. tried changing the core voltage with afterburner, and using wattman to raise volts but after 20 minutes or so the driver notices the volts are higher than expected and restarts itself at stock, crashing whatever game im in, despite running perfectly fine for those first 20 mins...

    Anyone have any ideas or should I just roll back to 17.7.1 where everything still worked? I Need the extra volts for a stable 1125 core 1610 vram. been running this oc for a year flawlessly untill this update :(
