Ghost Recon Wildlands

The HUD is my biggest issue as well. I don't want any enemy markers or red areas on the minimap because it makes the game too easy. But i want to see markers of waypoints or mission targets (VIP etc).

 

Well you could turn those crappy things off but 3.5 brought changes to the HUD (more control to what you can have off and on) but of course being Ubi they didn't bother testing the update and it forced certain things on even with the whole HUD set to off, still waiting for it to be fixed: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1646482-Cant-remove-Threat-Indicator/

I believe I was running borderless fullscreen before but I switched to exclusive fullscreen when I was benchmarking and because the results were similar between both modes I assumed, incorrectly, that the game was running fine in exclusive fullscreen now.

Is this game any good?

 

I really enjoyed it but I played with a friend and we didn't really take the story seriously. We also artificially made the game more difficult by not utilizing rebel support, purposely pulling more guys than we had to, etc.

Did this work? Im getting 70 to 85 fps at my settings and i can barely play it because of the micro stutter , makes me feel sick .

Limit framerate and enable vsync , are you not doing the same thing twice?

Awesome! Still cant get enough of this game so time for some chopper lessons i guess

 

God, the new controls are even worse than the normal ones. Whoever worked on this feature has no idea about the basic principles of a helicopter. Aweful.

 

I feel you and mostly agree, maybe it's due to the fact that we got used to previous ones.

 

I got used to ArmA1 / 2 and GTA V controls, they are just nailing it. And those are not even sims, just plain semi-realism for 10mins learning time.

 

I made a ticket for Ubisoft support concerning a problem i noticed with stepping sounds.

In Jungle areas there is a ground texture which has no defined stepping sound anymore - whatever sound you made when walking into that area, your sounds stay the same. In extreme situations i climbed over a car (producing a walking-on-metal sound) and when walking into the rain forest i still make the same noises. It's hilarious & bloody annoying!

Anybody ever noticed that? I was in La Santera when it happened and i believe it only happens in jungle areas.
Looking forward how they handle the ticket.

 

Love this game, devs are a lil lazy doh.
They litually told me, yes we know the bugs and no we won't fix them..



Anyways had 50 hours of pleasure and made a random video.

 

Ubisoft is garbage so I do not buy any of their games is a company that has no love for what it does and it shows in their productions.
