Hur Dur, I have accessed Guru3D user's database, pay me internet moneyz or watch your users gets deleted by 100 records everyday. Code: delete from usertable limit 100; Even if pirates did have a movie and actually released it, people who was gonna pay for a movie, will still wait release and pay for legit copy or see it in cinema. Edit : Sucks to have employees who leak data....
Pirating a pirate movie? How crass. They probably did this to cover their asses as the movie will most likely suck and now they can blame the loss on those filthy pirates! (one way or the other)
How stupid of a pirate do you have to be to ask for ransom? Did they honestly expect Disney to fall for that? With or without paying the ransom, it is inevitable that the movie would be pirated/bootlegged and leaked on the internet, and I'm sure movie studios know this. Maybe not this soon, but most people aren't (or at least weren't, until news articles showed up) going to be searching for it. The only thing this pirate accomplished was getting himself that much closer to being discovered.
I look forward to not having to pay for something my wife would normally insist I fork out £70 for a day out to with hotdogs and sweets and popcorn and 3d vip tickets and stuff. Thank you VERY VERY much hackers for saving my freaking livelihood so I can keep my house (and wife).
for greedy extortion? I would go out of my way to see the movie even though I would have happily waited just to be a vote for industry confidence in market viability thru such crap!
