Windows update just installed 382.13 on my PC. Surprised to see WU drivers being newer than the latest official WHQL.

    382.05 - [r381_99-3]
    382.13 - [r381_00-154]

Oh thanks. I was curious because even though many of these tweaks are snake oil, turning off the Windows 10 transparency effects in settings>personalization>colors>"transparency effects" really did fix the stuttering i was having in some games, that's why i was curious about the visual tweaks as well, i wouldn't be surprised if some of them cause stuttering just like the transparency setting.

I looked update and there is nothing new, maybe its another Pascal "only" driver.

I have experienced about a 25-30% drop in fps across all games with driver 382.05. When using the previous driver 381.89 fps were in high 70's, 80's, and upper 100's fps with ultra settings depending on the game. For example BF1 with the 382.05 drivers fps caps around 45fps and hovering around 35fps. With 381.89 drivers BF1 avg fps was around 82 fps. It doesn't matter what game is played BF1, Overwatch, Battlefront, Witcher 3 etc. What changes did they make to these drivers? Has anybody else experienced the same drop in fps with these drivers?

Are you on W10 CU? I haven't updated yet, but I've never experienced this issue. I'm using 3 monitors, 1920x1200 connected via DVI, 3840x2160 over HDMI 2.0 and 2560x1440 over DP. No GSync at all and they're all connected to the top card. The UHD screen is the main one. I've had games pop up on the wrong screen because the SLI focus had gotten borked, but I've never had any monitor shut down/turn black when running fullscreen games.

Since 2 last drivers set, I have strange visual effects in DOOM Multiplayer map "Disposal" when API is Vulkan.
    Kind of texture corruptions..
When I change to OpenGL, no more texture corruption.

Something strange happens in this map with Vulkan API in DOOM with at least this last driver set (And former one also 381.85)

i don't know why, but in dark souls 3 with g-sync enabled i have very strong tearing effect. On Gta5 and mass effect andromeda isn't work properly because i have a little stuttering. I never had any similar problems before.

Do you have VSYNC ON in nvidia control panel?

If not, turn it on and set FPS limiter to ~3 fps below your refresh rate.

Use in game if possible, otherwise use RTSS.

Since the update the performance at BF1 is really bad for me, the fps drops to 25-30 sometimes (with 378.66 the minimum was about 50).
GTA V is a different story - more fps and less fps drops.

    is there any reason why?
I have 16GB of ram, the card goes up to 74C and the CPU to about 50 (room temp is 32C). GTX 1060 6GB.

definitely something fishy, my FPS in BF1 never dips below 60 FPS.
