Okay, not exactly hardware, but hey it's Blade Runner. The original was a piece of artwork back in the days with renders and CGI unmatched and unseen before... Blade Runner 2049 Official Trailer
Would be Epic! Harrison Ford is a little bit old,but still do a good job.Filmed exclusively in Hungary. Blade Runner (1982) End Theme by "The Legend" of electronic music Vangelis Papathanassiou.
Haha, me too. Cyberpunk 2077 will hit the spot I think, however it's still a looong way off. As for the trailer, I like that it doesn't reveal much (unlike the majority of trailers), loved the original and am definitely looking forward to it!
The original is on my top 10 list of best movies ever and it would be a crime not to see the new one. Edit : Someone made this http://imgur.com/KTj927I
Note that the original Bladerunner movie had NO CGI in it. The effects were done with models/miniatures and matte paintings layered via old school optical plate compositing. The Final Cut version has some CGI in it to fix problems with some of the effects that have shown their age and don't hold up when rescanned and up-resolutioned, etc.
The cover image, that orange background with car,is also awesome. For connoisseurs: Blade Runner Soundtrack Full Vinyl, made by Audio Fidelity Records https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2x3UNHNo1LA
I love that soundtrack, I like how they've kept the theme of the first movie instead of overly changing things also. Note the big Atari logo part way through, and the way they've kept the Tyrell building almost identical. The first is one of my favourite movies, so fingers crossed.
Phenomenal trailer. Ryan Gosling is my Hollywood man crush (no homo). Love seeing the huge ATARI advert in there really adds continuity to the movie with the first one.
Looks good but just hope they focus more on the story rather than the FX, the original Bladerunner has a philosophy, it was based on Philip K Dick's Do Androids dream of Electric Sheep, good book if you haven't read it but yeah just hope they don't ruin it like they did with the recent Ghost in the shell movie, to be honest though I am doubtful it will be anywhere near as good as the original film, Bladerunner is one of those films that's timeless.
I wouldn't say the GiTS movie was ruined, it wasn't spectacular but it was better than most adaptations of its type by a fair margin. I enjoyed it for what it was personally. IMDB lists it as a 6.7 last I checked, which I'd agree with. Compared to similar movies, say Dragon Ball Evolution? Or the live action Last Airbender movie? Or the Resident Evil live action movies?
