I had wattman in 17.4.1

Currently, d3d12 experimental mode is needed to proper query SM6.0 driver support.

Drivers 17.4.2

Issue with Color Calibration remains. If I launch a game, the screen becomes bright and washed out.
For me, the temporary fix of disabling fullscreen optimizations in compatibility mode sadly doesn't work.

i have wattman 17.4.1 and overdrive in 17.4.2
i found some tweaks :

dx12 forza 3 artifact the file responsible for this and dx12 games is amdxc64.dll i just replace it with older 17.3.1 and all good
2- crash of wattman in new 17.4.1 17.4.2 in gcn1 and i think 2 crashes in cemu.exe or stalker call of.... its a file named atiuxpag.dll responsible of direct compute replace it with older packages folder where replace files in C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\c0312788.inf_amd64_2ee146c720c05a4f this last folder name change per user ^^ win 10 64 bit
to adjust color in amd use : Saturation Toggler the best with shortcut and 2 profile color stay adjusted only gone if you do clean uninstall

for PrMinisterGR and maybe OnnA or other guys

i need your help i just repack 17.4.1 cause i need to downvolt my 7950 and this only can with wattman and after sleep keep my voltage so i repack it with newest drivers from 17.4.2 with fix that i told you about but but my problem i cant find files to make it wddm 2.2 ?
and when install driver form package 17.4.2 even install catalyst 17.4.1 wattman gone
so any solution to repack 17.4.1 fully wddm2.2 or make 17.4.2 use wattman cause its not app folder related its like wattman need to be unlocked like in package 17.4.1 and i am afraid that amd make it for gcn1 by error then remove it

Do you know if gcn1.0 will support SM6.0?

 

Using experimental mode, current drivers reports SM 6.0 for my R9 280 GPU, which is GCN1. same for my R9 380.

 

Just asking... wasn't a 17.3.2 first driver with SM6.0/DXIL experimental support?

 

17.3.1 was first AMD driver to support DXIL 1.0 format.
I did not tried that driver since I updated to Windows 10 version 1703 only one week ago directly using 17.4.1 drivers.

 

I love these, Demos are the best tool to benchmark video transcoding performance on the fly.

You just screengrab with ffmpeg and test through different settings / x264 params ... and leave the demo on a loop... c1:

 

Do you know anything about Nvidia? Is there any hope for Kepler supporting SM6?

NV r381 driver branch and beyond supports DXIL 1.0 format, prior versions (r378.x) support a 0.7 preview version.
I do not have a Kepler to do the test.

 

Anybody try ME:A with CF yet? I'm not optimistic this fixed the shaky crossfire performance, especially since no mention was made, but its always possible they patched something and didnt think it worthy of a note.

 

still getting lower scores in vulkan compared to dx12 in 3dmark

 

OMFG! First drivers to cause the UVD bug. I have NEVER been able to reproduce before today and now Warframe crashes while I'm playing Runescape and a Youtube vid, after that it won't get out of UVD...

Looks like I'm back to 17.4.1 after I thought everything was going well...

 

Overclocking still not working. Latest working drivers was 17.3.x
