I hope they have a 30 day return policy cuz I'm definitely getting the MSI gaming edition when it drops later.
I think I ordered a evga can anyone tell me how that she-up program works?

I just had one of these little puppies show up on my doorstep this morning.

My understanding is that you have 14 days from purchase to register it with EVGA and then it's eligible for the step up program for 90 days.

 

Anyone figured out how to mod afterburner to allow extra voltage yet? I have an Asus card.

How loud is FE with higher fan? lets say at least 60% so its cooler, I dont want it over 75C..

I like it too since it's a straight up beast! But what I don't like about the three fans is that they are louder than the MSI cooler.

Lolz, that's a fantastic price for your trusty 980Ti So there are price differences where you live? All major retailers in Sweden have the same price as nVidia.com (8450 SEK or 881€).

Yep, I heard that when stressed and OCd, the fans are quite audible. nVidia claims they've made improvements that lower this and that but we all know that their cooler is nothing compared to the AIB ones.

I was thinking to buy it on either Amazon.uk or Amazon.It Or Amazon.de or some German shop - most are ~ 800€..
I didn't check locally, here its a total ripoff for sure.


I was thinking about this slightly custom Zotac - still looks a lot like stock, but probably tiny bit better. Its the only one with modded cooler.

800€ isn't exactly a bad price though, and seems to be about average based on prices here.

OCUK seems to be the cheapest at £689 which is 791€, so 9€ isn't exactly the end of the world unless it's north of that by a large amount.

 

@ Tj, instead of getting that zotac i think its best to get a FE, in the future if you want to get a waterblock or custom cooler for it it might interfere with this and that. At least with the FE you are sure there will be plenty of custom cooling solutions to choose from without any fear of incompatibilities. The power delivery is more than capable even on the FE, for pascals "crippled" oc.

 

Nah I won't go water or buy extra cooler, not comfortable modding it like that.

Yeah I was about to make a pre-order there @ amazon.co.uk for 699 or £719 with post to my country.
But idk think I'll just wait for custom for now, 1 month up or down not in a hurry.. Well from what I saw its a bit pricey atm, basically everywhere pre-order.

The cheapest FE was ~ 782€ in one German Shop though, but by quick look its not a known shop.

He's Serbian. Eastern parts of the EU get shafted, hardware is expensive.

Umm, I wouldn't get that Zotac If it comes to leaf blower coolers, nVidia does it best, I think that Zotac will be very loud.

And there it's still more expansive than in the UK or the US I guess. Same here in Austria with prices, they are close to German ones.

At least you could pick up your waterblocks from EKWB locally then
