    Some of those as well
Anyone else having problems installing the drivers?

Edit nevermind - got a solution on another foum. Stupid Windows not assigning the actual user as the owner of the temp file.

I'm not sure I'm a fan of these. Their dual-fan ACX2 solution seemed one of the best on the market.

    Why'd they go for triple-fans?

Well maybe after the cooling debacle with the GTX 1070s and 1080s and the ACX3 coolers with the lack of thermal pads. They wanted to maybe make sure that the cards receive the best cooling possible.

I might just wait for Vega. Not that desperate to upgrade, just itching. If it's near the 1080ti performance and price, I'd still go with 1080ti, if for nothing else, for nvidia inspector. When is Vega due?

all you current 980ti owners who have purchased a 1080ti
was your 980ti reference design? or custom aftermarket (msi gaming x, asus strix.. etc...)?

wondering why not just wait for 1080ti custom coolers ?

I wish people would just look at history. It never changes. Vega will be slower than the 1080 Ti.

£699 for my MSI FE edition, and £100 for the EK block.

I'm not in a hurry neither, i'll wait for the dust to settle. Vega is June i guess?
There isn't a single game out there that would push me to upgrade right now.

    Say that to Intel.

I am waiting for the Asus Strix version. I have the 1080 Strix and love it but will let it go cheap as soon as the new Strix comes out. The three fans really help and no matter how hard I pushed it in demanding games it never got over 60 degrees celsius.

:infinity: Dammit, shopping list just grows... 1080Ti, new waterblock, 2x quick release couplings, a new fan splitter... luckily I got my DataVac in time for the new build / spring cleanout :D
