    For the third time..

Yes they are calling the cards "Founders Edition" - but I think to most people that implies that the pricing is wonky again. It's not. Which is what I meant by my first post and why I included the sentence about the lifespan. The $700 is the base MSRP and not $100 over the MSRP.

I really do wonder why the card is priced so "low". Was expecting the price to be around 899-999 USD. Nvidia like to be greedy with their high-end stuff when there is no competition and I am saying that as the fanboi. But not gonna complain about it kek.

Yes...well, that wasn't my issue. They are calling it a "Founders Edition". Given that, could you confirm this claim of yours that this Founders Edition:

"won't be carrying the Ti "Stock" model throughout the lifespan of the GPU like they are with the 1080/1070."

    That, was my question.

It's been the same with each Titan card and the subsequent xxxxTi releases... no surprise here.

What value? You bought yourself some time, that's all, sorry to disappoint you :D

Still waiting for information on the board partners' card availabilities, and what waterblocks will come out for them and when (FE = Titan blocks, no other information I found so far).

It's a normal price, i don't get why people think this would cost 899- 999 usd,
just look at the history, prices of the gtx980ti, history is mostly a good indicator.

If it was priced 899-999 usd, i don't think they would sell much.

I think I mentioned 800-850$ but since I'm thinking Swedish prices, I have to take our 25% VAT into account, so 850*0,8=680$ ;)

While it seems to strange to say £700 is a good price, it's just because we have "high" expectations.

Around £13 markup over the USD price as well which isn't bad either.

Anyone noticed on the 1080Ti FE cards they have no DVI, only HDMI/Display Port? So is DVI slowly being phased out then? I've seen some custom cards with DVI for those who don't have a monitor with HDMI or Display Port, but still, slightly alarming DVI is not on the 1080Ti FE cards seeing as the 1080 FE did have DVI.

They removed DVI as part of the cooler improvements. Not having the port block the back exhaust is pretty helpful. Aside from Korean monitor owners, I can't see many people buying a Ti needing DVI anyway.

I'm kind of glad it's going away - takes up[ space, looks ugly and hampers cooling.

Meh I think I'll wait to see in 3rd party boards have DVI. I want a DP 4K 27" monitor just don't want to drop the cash for it ATM.

Faster than TitanX? Where's my Titan Black Pascal with 3840SP/HBM 2.0/128ROP since it's clearly coming?

    Didn't see this coming.

I read somewhere there would be a displayport -> DVI converter in the box. Check before you pull the trigger to make sure.
