    378.66/.72/.77 debug mode working as usual & w/o gray-ed.

clean install or even install on top of previous driver.

Nvidia should finally start offering drivers on different channels similar to what Mozilla or Google are doing with their browsers.

Release drivers - current WHQL drivers (once a month and with every major game release)
Beta drivers - once a week
    Nightly/developer drivers - once a day

    This would keep everybody happy.

Same here, seems it's fixed only for one architecture.

So life is just one big joke ? People use the drivers with their games so hey I must disagree with your point of view !

    Have a good day :)

Yeah, it's sad. No, wait, it's not sad since they actually did for the beta and the release is two weeks away. The game's beta runs fine on NV h/w too.

As they already said current profiles are not the best but with official release new drivers will come with better ones.

For example SLI profile..needs work. Good scaling but flickering some times (especially when raining and/or during sunsets).

(we also have temporal techniques in use so tweaking is needed...)

I have faith...maybe from Nvidia, maybe from few community users..

There is something called QA (Quality Assurance) which nVidia seems not care too much about. Apparently this does not seem important to you either.

Sure, bugs can happen sometimes and I don't mind hotfixes but as of late we're getting hotfixes almost at every driver release.

I think the ratio is 1 release:3 hotfixes. I agree with Netherwind, no qa, trying to push the next release to us without fully testing themselves. Now we are the guinea pigs for nVidia.

I'll give you a little insight because it seems like you do not understand the complexity of software.

It is literally impossible for any driver team to test the thousands of different configurations and also the other thousands of programs as well.

Do you not understand how long that would take?

If they did that, we would only get a few driver releases in a year..

FYI a driver can have more lines of code than the OS itself..

So if you still don't understand and like the fact that they fix bugs in hotfixes well maybe you should change to the red team so you can complain over there.

I was coming from the most recent drivers before this one, Used DDU. tried installing these and deselected 3d bulls***.. everything installed just fine BUT the GFX driver itself wouldn't install :/ "failed"

also with the 378.66 GTA 5 throws up an error saying Video Memory exceeded on my GTX 1080 with all settings maxed at 1080p... :(

im rolling back about 3-4 driver versions till Nvidia Fixes this BS

Nvidia Titan X Pascal is not a factory OC card so that debug should be checked and greyed out on it. People, learn what things do before complaining.

Which driver are you using to get GTA V stable? I bought the game last week and can't even play it for more than 5 minutes. It crashes with some Failed to Initialize error.

Just installed this driver, let's see how it goes.
