@sammarbella: sorry that this doesn't work for you, but my post was for the general public for those with a setup similar to mine. But your frustrations shouldn't be directed at people trying to either help you or the community; please direct your anger at your video card maker and AMD.

I will no longer reply to your messages.

Works for me, with same fps as last couple drivers. Clean install option.

    Your monitor?
With my HP I can choose 1.1 or 1.2 DP mode.

    Not that it matters.
Because I get 2.7 Gbps x 4 (which is DP 1.1) no matter which mode I select. It's really pissing me off tbh :bang:

    Nope: http://gpuopen.com/concurrent-execution-asynchronous-queues/#comment-6937

Since many months, when default and compute queues where executed in concurrency, the driver redirected the compute queue jobs on the default queue, disabling what folks calls "asynchronous compute".

This is how the workloads looks with previous drivers (just look at the top of both images, where the queues are represented): https://community.amd.com/message/2765237

This is how it looks now (forgot to show the device context workload, but queue summary is enough..): https://forum.beyond3d.com/posts/1965805/

Help, Looks like the very latest AMD drivers 17.2.1 have stopped cru 1.3 working.
I have been using this since the summer everything working fine. I did have my monitor upped from 60hz to 72Hz. Now it doesnt give me the option after a restart in the windows display adapter settings. Im using hdmi, i dont user the patcher and fressync now works but between 30-60 (not 70) my monitor is a ultrawide AOC 29 inch q2963pm.

Ideas to get round this issue?

This seems to be a driver bug in 17.2.1. The driver is not loading EDID overrides on startup.

I found one workaround: toggling GPU scaling will load the EDID override, but you'll have to do this every reboot. "

As our Bratan' ToastyX said: we have a driver bug in 17.2.1 that's why CRU don't work properly :)

CRU doesnt work bcoz they put their screen custom resolution options in. Check screen section in amd settings.

OFC I wasn't able to make custom resolution(that workin in cru ofc) put in this panel to make it work properly. Maybe something is missing or I choose wrong options.

Ok. The problem in my rig is a second card (my asus 290x reference card), inconsistent core clock and artefact with this relive drivers. The Other 295x2 works fine, core clock is solid. This problem is with wattman and with msi afterburner. I Changed the bios to reference bios in my asus 290x (before have custom bios from insanity), but the problem persist. Remember, this problem is only with relive drivers, 16.11.5 works fine all cards with AB (295x2and 290x)

Relive drivers have a problem with trifire's rigs?, I dont know but this is very strange. Sorry my english me used google translator.

This is good news. Allthough GCN 1.0 is old, it's still very common.

ReLive changed things that broke OC for OUR GPUs (290X CFX).

There are ppl with our same GPUs reporting AfterBurner OC works for fine them using ReLive drivers. It must be a miracle because AfterBurner dev himself posted it doesn't work due to AMD changes.

I think we have only two options with our setup:

    - 16.11.5 and AfterBurner OC

    or

    - ReLive drivers+custom GPU BIOS OC

P.S: Don't worry about your English: mine is not better and everybody understand me here. :D

Spanish: (No te preocupes acerca de tu Ingles: el mio no es mejor y todo el mundo me entiende aqui. :D)

Me too, but their temporal solution was causing more issues than the original problem. It was no more about performance.
