The 6600K is´nt better than i7 4790, since IPC difference is minimal and 4790 clocked 100MHz higher (stock clocks), after all, final performance will depend on how many threads this game will use
Does it require steam? or other third party software to be installed. This is a point I wish to bring up.. Most of these games give PC requirements, under that box on the back, is another under it which in small letters says..,. noticeroduct offered subject to your acceptance of the steam subscriber agreement (*ssa*). You must activate this product via the internet by registering for a steam account bla bla bla. Not on anymore. It's not clear , as most people rerad the system requirements section to see if there PC will work with the game, get it home and find freaking small print in a box under that one.. Now no more will I use steam, origin uplay, they are taking the micheal, and using these services to try and get more money, and per say free advertising chucked at us.
He was talking about 8350 vs 6600k. Difference between those two CPU is night and day when it comes to gaming in the favor of Intel so i would not take this CPU req. serious.
actually a 6600k at 4.6 ghz performs just as well as a 4790k for gaming, maybe even better https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWxncqbe1H8
If that is indeed what he was talking about, that makes no sense. They were giving the minimum and recommended for both systems, separate. Not against.
6600k being minimum? lot of folks out there with slower i5's....heck they even put the K as minimum so I guess a stock 6600@ 3.3 is to slow?/ Lol
