    hmmm IPS? or VA jugging from the 1000:1 Ratio and 6ms I thinking is IPS

    Yeah I just found the answer to that, it indeed is IPS.

    It does look nice,too bad i won't afford a gaming screen with HDR. Not surprising though considering it's new tech.

    When the next best thing comes along then i'll be able to afford a 2k+/144hz/gsync/hdr screen.

    I think that's the first monitor I've ever seen that has buttons on the base.
    Loving all the monitor news. I hope they announce 4k 144hz GSync at CES. Or something similar.

    That is not enough brightness to meet the full HDR spec for an LCD. Needs to be closer to 1,000 nits.

    @ least its glossy thats a big plus in my book, still only 60 hz ? :(

    fiqured, for that price even if it is 1440p and claims HDR it not worth it imo it support HDR format I doubt it show it though, maybe if it support Gsync/free sync too.

    There HDR UHDTV out there that "support" HDR but cant actual display the extra colors and brightness too.

    Well that's not going to happen, DisplayPort 1.4 (published march 2016, not readily available) only supports 4K up to 120hz and 8k at 60hz and 1.3 supports 120hz at 4K and 30hz at 8k
