**** that **** ! Cutbacks everywhere - when are the going to realize that verything isn't solved by letting people go evertime ? The ones left are going to have to run a lot faster - being in the risk zone of stress and what not...
That's a very good point, someone always has to "pick up the pieces". The company is very small though and can only afford the most crucial people even at good times. So in that respect I understand, and somewhat foresaw, their decision. No need for a production manager when there's no production to manage. Still, I expected to be laid-off, not let go alltogether. Short sighted if you ask me, yes. But enough off-topic I think, just needed to focus my thoughts for a while. (Ironically I applied for another job recently and would have got it but decided to turn their offer down in favour of my current employer. Loyalty is useless these days).

Thanks man! Yea, after the initial shock it's not the end of the world. The business had its issues anyway (I wouldn't have applied for another job if it didn't). I'll get some compensation and luckily have a bit of savings too so can afford to take a little time off. More gaming time is always good
A patch was released, there's no changelog at the moment though. EDIT: From the readme file whch was updated. General changes • Added support for DirectX® 12 o Multi-GPU (SLI/Crossfire) support not yet implemented (2.82 GB download. ) EDIT: But the required files for D3D12 is missing (A couple of .dll's and the exe.) so it defaults to D3D11 for now. I can't get it to work but others definitively can, guessing the Steam version of the game is OK as there's a lot of DX12 performance comparisons in the discussions there now (And here too in some posts above this one.) but even after doing two file verification's (Waiting a bit in between.) it hasn't found anything problematic so either the UPlay version of the game is a bit wonky or it's something on my end.
I have the strangest bug in DX12, other then that it works fine: When I Alt-Tab and then tab back in, Shadowplay automatically takes a screenshot for no reason. Weird as hell. High score in Survival atm is now 22000+.
Damn, was about to extract from Survival - the helicopter landed and was just pressing the button to get in when the server shut down
Agents - play The Division FREE this weekend (starting 19:00 CET today to 22:00 CET sunday) I did manage to get it to work when I figured out that I need to Apply the settings in Graphics after the info box telling me that a restart is required has vanished Got a nice boost of 8-10 FPS First DX12 game that actually gives me something good. Finally got 3-piece Striker so I'm getting somewhere. Now I need better weapons. My AR hits for about 29k (white damage) and when I Warrengate with others, they finished off mobs within two-three seconds so I guess their DPS was several times higher than mine.
