Thanks for the patch notes Des! Yeah read the change notes, no more Shotgun rambos? We shall see. But the main thing I'm curious about still remains if it fixes SLI flickering (of course, they don't support SLI officially). The other question will be, what if they didn't fix it?
I would have been more assured if something was actually written down, the only thing there is something about CPU optimizations for big VRAM cards. Overall, this is a big gameplay patch so I am at least happy they are getting some things right. I'd still trade it all for an SLI fix though. @ShadowDuke Is that a young Natascha McElhone ?

Well I didn't feel gameplay to be any more or less broken than the BF games before, there's always been things that were... out of what one expected hehe But yeah, I'm really wondering if I'd have a chance to refund my game because of a game patch breaking the game for me. No where was it communicated that it wouldn't support SLI because it never was written anywhere, and also, it worked in the beginning. Having paid for the game I do not see much fun in having it collect digital dust on my drive because I can't play it properly.
Hi guys, just upgraded to a gtx 1070 after a few weeks without playing BF1 and I have noticed this: Rain puddles dont have reflections and look black...it ONLY happens when raining, in other weather they are working fine...its only me?? using latest drivers...
Played a bit of BF again yesterday after a break. Few rounds of Domination and Conquest. Conquest was absolute balls though, no teamplay and got rekt pretty bad... at worst three medics and no one revives (except me) for example. Everyone running to different places even if squad leader gave orders. Btw have resolution scale set to 150 % (1080p) and it really crispens/sharpens the image. DSR (1440p) made the image and text in particular blurry for some reason.
Wow, that aim assist paragraph is a doozy. Lotta whiners were screaming there was no advantage a couple weeks ago. I'd imagine the bf1 boards must be down right filthy right about now...
The attempt to erase the SLI fiasco from history by not including the fix in the patch notes is truly laughable.
1.96GB here ? EDIT: that was aparently the size of the "preparing" file - it is in fact 3.36GB that needs to be downloaded
The patch notes I posted were not final, sli is fixed apparently few other changes too that will be in the new notes posted today.

SLI is indeed fixed. The new map seemed fine at first but then came the fog which turned it in to a cluster ****!
