Yup, did some UG before quitting. Got to lvl 35 and tried a 3 phase op after which did some gear tweaking. Multiphase ops on Challenging can be nasty, especially against LMB. When grenadiers, shielded heavies and a few medics are in the mix it's somewhat a matter of luck. You can be doing fine one minute, then a few shotgunners and grenadiers spawn on you and bam, dead, wasted progress... Lols, all the time I was expecting an elite to shoot you or something... Survival seems brutal fun though, still kind of torn whether should I get it or not.
Get it man, survival is pretty fun! Start a bit slow, but once you get ball rolling its great! I have given up on UG for now and been doing Survival, really like that mode.
Yea everyone seems to enjoy Survival... plus tbh UG bores me already, I prefer doing freeroam/HVTs/... Survival seems like a really good mode for group play. Oh what the heck, it's Xmas soon anyway! Will get it once I get home. It's basically the only thing on my wishlist now. Well, there are dozens of games on my Steam wishlist but those are more for maybe-when-they-are-on-sale.
YES do it ! Free roam is cool too. I have a map printed out that shows the Boss locations outside the DZ Takes about 45min to clear them all at Tier5 :nerd:

Don't have one either, the ingame chat is pretty handy though. Ofc you can't type mid battle (unless you're really uberpro)! BTW/FYI you can switch to group-only channel by typing /g or /group just thought I'd mention as it's not stated anywhere AFAIK and only recently found this out myself. If you all already knew that then... you did
The usual 6-11 PM time window I think (GMT +2). Depends a bit on whether the "assembly supervisor" is on a Netflix binge... I think PvP grants somewhat bigger rewards but... tbh doesn't really feel like my cup of tea. Ok, in a group of four it could be fun but having your progress wiped by someone else is infuriating.
