Anythings possible when your lead dev is a racist. The only foot steps i hear are that of people running to preorder a game that they're looking forward to EA has made. But, maybe they've got some sort of thing similar to Elite Ds tech that through lore states that there are audio ques/tech that give the characters of the universe simulated audio feedback to provide awareness of their surroundings. Try walking down the stairs in your own house in the dark and see how award something youve down a thousand times feels. Also, its a game, if we can create simulated game worlds, then im sure the tech of the future can create audio ques via simulated feedback within a helmet.
In space, sound has no medium to travel on. So impossible, just like many movies with sounds of explosions in space..
BioWare so far created games with quality stories and a very solid gameplay. the amount of action shown on trailers isn't something people should worry about. i actually think that Andromeda will be more RPG\Open galaxy based than ME2 + ME3. the new "Mako" and old loyalty missions means - more exploration for us, and interesting and deep crew mates as usual for ME games. very happy so far. i also think we will see minimal connection to the old story.. nothing about Shepard or his main story-line.. but.. fragments from the older games attached to the new game by some logic way.
Graphics look fantastic of course since it's running on perhaps the latest iteration of the FB3 engine. Gameplay looks great as well, and very reminiscent of previous ME games.. The only thing that looks terrible are the facial and hair animations. I hope those will be improved before the game releases, because they are really bad..
First, I'd like to point out that I've finished ME1 5 times, ME2 2 times and ME3 1 time. For me, ME is the best franchise BioWare created, even with very bad and strongly underwhelming ME3. This first look into the real gameplay made me seriously worried and sad. Was this supposed to be the highlight of what they have? Graphics looks like ME1 2007 only in higher resolution and with less effects / postprocesses, which UE3 did perfectly. What happened? Trying to achieve full 4K on PS4Pro? Bad decision, visual fidelity is sub-par. Gameplay in conversations seems absolutely the same, no improvement at all and actually WORSE facial animations than ME1 from 2007?!?! Mako physics also seems worse. Combat looks much more frenetic/faster - I don't like that, ME always was and should be a calm cover shooter. Overall it looks like new game designers took over and the whole game seems much more teenage-oriented, original ME games were much more adult. I seriously hope I'm wrong and that gameplay trailer was just badly put together.
Agreed. In that one scene, holding guns on each other... yet, one looks like she's smiling... the other looks empty. Looked pretty bad.
Graphics are somewhat meh and animations look bad. Facial animations are creepy. Gameplay looks like DA:I in space, maybe less clunky. Hmmmhmmm....
I was thinking the exact same thing...... it... doesn't look like Mass Effect to me... but does... if that makes sense...
MASS EFFECT: ANDROMEDA COMING MARCH 21, 2017 https://www.masseffect.com/news/mass-effect-andromeda-coming-in-march And ofcourse Origin only
I don't think 'awesome' is a word to describe any 3rd party DRM software, but yeah, I'm really looking forward to this title.
Origin has come leaps and bounds from where it used to be. I still prefer STEAM, but, Origin does have a few things up on STEAM. Better customer service, STEAM's service is the stuff of legends. Because of how shoddy it is. Origin's refund policy is better. Also, I get better download speeds from Origin. But, even then, STEAM just offers far more. I don't minds Origin exclusive titles, and have bought several. Competition is good, in this case, great because it forced Origin to evolve and improve. And it did.
I'm over Origin, I have ME 1&2 on Steam. still waiting for 3.. I will just wait for it to be on Steam, if it never does then so be it...
I'm not picky. Sure Steam is older and offers more, but at the end of the day I haven't had any problems with Origin so a simple click with my finger to open it doesn't send me on a spiral pit of depression lol. I'm looking forward to Mass Effect. It'll be a long wait though.
