the code for left 4 dead 2 does not work in left 4 dead 1 and the left 4 dead 1 default code (6h) is flashing when moving, is there a functional code for left 4 dead 1 ?

That'd be too easy wouldn't it? No we don't want that.
DX12. Impossible. Totally up to the developer.
Most still haven't caught up to the quality of HBAO+. So we are stuck with whatever solutions they give us.
That's surprising. Is there a reason you want to play L4D1 instead of L4D1 content in L4D2?

Anyway, your easiest chances are to use the flags that are in the driver for other source engine games.

Any flag for Darksiders Warmastered Edition? The flag for Darksiders 2 do not work. =(

If possible, put my post in the table for the flag for Cities Skylines. Thank you.

I believe the "Warmastered" edition is running in DX11 mode, so naturally the old DX9 HBAO+ flag won't work.
Take a look at the DX10 and DX11 AO bits instead ;)

Tried all of them already, none works.

If I put flags that are not in the profiles yet it will work? For example, 0x001F0000? Or only the flags that are already implemented are recognized? DX11 flags go from 1 to 18, there are no 1A+ yet.

Darksiders Warmastered looks like it's using some built-in low end SSAO. I tried adding AO through MXAO last night and it didn't really add much but it took a major hit on performance.

Man, I wish I could mod Assassin's Creed III to turn off AO all together.

There is an old tool for opening and modding the .Forge files for AC games up to ACII. If only it was updated for ACIII. Then I could disable the AO entirely possibly.

As is, it's atrocious. On Very High, it looks even worse. Too strong, tons of aliasing and flickering and adds white artifacts on outlines of some objects/characters.

If you use MSAA/TXAA then it also causes a bug with the AO as well, creating these rolling horizontal/vertical lines on many surfaces.

What's incredible too, is that this is the main source of temporal instability. The AO.

    The options are incredibly limited.

It uses an .ini kind of like Unreal Engine. Not XML formatted like the Far Cry games.

Last update for Cities Skylines changed the Unity version for 5.4. The flag is broken, heavy flickering and sometimes you see a very black AO in all screen and them is gone.

Styx: Master of Shadows works with the 0x0000002F flag for Hawken. There seems to be some slight bleeding in fog, but I'd need to play through some foggier levels to be sure.

    Comparison: screenshotcomparison.com/comparison/196413

It's quite a subtle effect that works quite well in an already dark game.

Looking at the comparison, it looks like the game already has AO to begin with turned on. Unless that shading is baked somehow.

Yeah I think that's baked in AO that some UE3 games have on geometry.
Sadly the added HBAO completely bleeds through fog (imgur.com/a/bXr6p) so the flag isn't ideal.

Its using DX11 and is the same engine as Assassin's Creed and Rainbow Six Siege, i would try the lords of the fallen flag.

Thanks, added this to my master list spreadsheet.
Nice to still see users posting actual HBAO+ bits information in the thread :)

I do have a question though about a flag you posted a while ago for "Firewatch":
    http://forums.guru3d.com/showpost.php?p=5231035&postcount=2118

Are you sure "0x00140000" actually has an effect here, because I'm seeing no shadow depth effect in these screens to be honest?
