    My thoughts on Trump's 100 day plan:

    * FIRST, propose a Constitutional Amendment to impose term limits on all members of Congress;

    No support in congress, won't happen.

    * SECOND, a hiring freeze on all federal employees to reduce federal workforce through attrition (exempting military, public safety, and public health);

    This I belive can be done through executive action.

    * THIRD, a requirement that for every new federal regulation, two existing regulations must be eliminated;

    Unsustainable law that likely won't have much support in congress.

    * FOURTH, a 5 year-ban on White House and Congressional officials becoming lobbyists after they leave government service;

    Again, no support in congress.

    * FIFTH, a lifetime ban on White House officials lobbying on behalf of a foreign government;

    See above.

    * SIXTH, a complete ban on foreign lobbyists raising money for American elections.

    Hey look, something else congress won't do.

    On the same day, I will begin taking the following 7 actions to protect American workers:

    * FIRST, I will announce my intention to renegotiate NAFTA or withdraw from the deal under Article 2205

    NAFTA has always had a lot of bipartisan support, this wont happen.

    * SECOND, I will announce our withdrawal from the Trans-Pacific Partnership

    The TPP was one of the few things Obama and Republicans agreed on. With GOP in the majority, this will not happen.

    * THIRD, I will direct my Secretary of the Treasury to label China a currency manipulator

    Not sure on this. But considering how much stuff China makes, congress will be hesitant to do anything that will drive up costs on the majorty of manufactured goods.

    * FOURTH, I will direct the Secretary of Commerce and U.S. Trade Representative to identify all foreign trading abuses that unfairly impact American workers and direct them to use every tool under American and international law to end those abuses immediately

    This will take time and a lot of negotition. Again, TPP is supported by the majority of congress, so good luck.

    * FIFTH, I will lift the restrictions on the production of $50 trillion dollars' worth of job-producing American energy reserves, including shale, oil, natural gas and clean coal.

    Don't see anything stopping this.

    * SIXTH, lift the Obama-Clinton roadblocks and allow vital energy infrastructure projects, like the Keystone Pipeline, to move forward

    They are planning to redirect the pipeline already. It would get built either way.

    * SEVENTH, cancel billions in payments to U.N. climate change programs and use the money to fix America's water and environmental infrastructure

    Not sure how congress will handle this. Democratic filibuster? Climate change is a big deal for dems and even some republicans. This one will stir up a fight for sure.

    Additionally, on the first day, I will take the following five actions to restore security and the constitutional rule of law:

    * FIRST, cancel every unconstitutional executive action, memorandum and order issued by President Obama

    Yep, this completely doable and seems almost spiteful.

    * SECOND, begin the process of selecting a replacement for Justice Scalia from one of the 20 judges on my list, who will uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States

    What this race was all about...

    * THIRD, cancel all federal funding to Sanctuary Cities

    All federal funding? Don't think that will happen, but I am sure a compromise will occur and there will be consiquences for these cities.

    * FOURTH, begin removing the more than 2 million criminal illegal immigrants from the country and cancel visas to foreign countries that won't take them back

    I don't have a huge issue with this, I wish it were linmited to violent crinimals and not all, but what can you do.

    * FIFTH, suspend immigration from terror-prone regions where vetting cannot safely occur. All vetting of people coming into our country will be considered extreme vetting.

    My guess is he will have 3rd federal agency to vet even further? We already have the most extreme vetting in the world for refugees, a concept I struggle to get through most conservatives heads who believe we just let everyone in because that is what Fox News tells them.

    Next, I will work with Congress to introduce the following broader legislative measures and fight for their passage within the first 100 days of my Administration:

    1.Middle Class Tax Relief And Simplification Act. An economic plan designed to grow the economy 4% per year and create at least 25 million new jobs through massive tax reduction and simplification, in combination with trade reform, regulatory relief, and lifting the restrictions on American energy. The largest tax reductions are for the middle class. A middle-class family with 2 children will get a 35% tax cut. The current number of brackets will be reduced from 7 to 3, and tax forms will likewise be greatly simplified. The business rate will be lowered from 35 to 15 percent, and the trillions of dollars of American corporate money overseas can now be brought back at a 10 percent rate.

    So big tax cut and anticipated 4% growth. I don't think he will hit 4%, but I actually imagine the economy will get short term growth. But the environment will suffer, worker rights will suffer, and wages will stay just as stagnant as they are currently.

    2. End The Offshoring Act. Establishes tariffs to discourage companies from laying off their workers in order to relocate in other countries and ship their products back to the U.S. tax-free.

    These tariffs would need to be so large that it becomes more expensive to stay overseas and forces the company to come back. This sounds great on paper, but it will mean prices on all effected goods will go up accordingly no matter where they came from. This means cost of living is going to go way up.

    3. American Energy & Infrastructure Act. Leverages public-private partnerships, and private investments through tax incentives, to spur $1 trillion in infrastructure investment over 10 years. It is revenue neutral.

    I am curious how this is going to work. Sounds an awful lot like privatization of infrastructure which opens a whole can of worms.

    4. School Choice And Education Opportunity Act. Redirects education dollars to give parents the right to send their kid to the public, private, charter, magnet, religious or home school of their choice. Ends common core, brings education supervision to local communities. It expands vocational and technical education, and make 2 and 4-year college more affordable.

    I like the idea of me paying school taxes and that money then being applied to what ever school I choose for my child (if I am reading that right) but common core is a program created by state goverments and the federal government has no say in it.

    5. Repeal and Replace Obamacare Act. Fully repeals Obamacare and replaces it with Health Savings Accounts, the ability to purchase health insurance across state lines, and lets states manage Medicaid funds. Reforms will also include cutting the red tape at the FDA: there are over 4,000 drugs awaiting approval, and we especially want to speed the approval of life-saving medications.

    Health savings accounts alread exist for almost all high deducatable plans. Buying plans accross state lines is all well and good, but won't have this hugh impact he believes. You're not going to buy from a provider in Cali if you live in NY and no one accepts it. That law was designed to keep people from buying plans that end up useless to them.

    6. Affordable Childcare and Eldercare Act. Allows Americans to deduct childcare and elder care from their taxes, incentivizes employers to provide on-side childcare services, and creates tax-free Dependent Care Savings Accounts for both young and elderly dependents, with matching contributions for low-income families.

    More tax deductions that help a little but really don't impact the lower class people who already pay next to nothing in taxes. Tax CREDITS are what will actually help struggling families.

    7. End Illegal Immigration Act Fully-funds the construction of a wall on our southern border with the full understanding that the country Mexico will be reimbursing the United States for the full cost of such wall; establishes a 2-year mandatory minimum federal prison sentence for illegally re-entering the U.S. after a previous deportation, and a 5-year mandatory minimum for illegally re-entering for those with felony convictions, multiple misdemeanor convictions or two or more prior deportations; also reforms visa rules to enhance penalties for overstaying and to ensure open jobs are offered to American workers first.

    Reimbursement? Yeah, Mexico isn't paying for anything, so kiss ~$16 billion in tax dollars away. Mandatory jail sentences? So instead of kicking them out we are going to spend $30-60 thousand a year to house each one? Yeah that is cost effective...

    8. Restoring Community Safety Act. Reduces surging crime, drugs and violence by creating a Task Force On Violent Crime and increasing funding for programs that train and assist local police; increases resources for federal law enforcement agencies and federal prosecutors to dismantle criminal gangs and put violent offenders behind bars.

    Stop and frisk on a national scale. This will go to the supreme court and I do hope they do the right thing and strike it down.

    9. Restoring National Security Act. Rebuilds our military by eliminating the defense sequester and expanding military investment; provides Veterans with the ability to receive public VA treatment or attend the private doctor of their choice; protects our vital infrastructure from cyber-attack; establishes new screening procedures for immigration to ensure those who are admitted to our country support our people and our values

    Our military doesn't need rebuilding. We still spend over half our ****ing budget on defense. The VA options I support assuming they are easy for vets to utilize.

    10. Clean up Corruption in Washington Act. Enacts new ethics reforms to Drain the Swamp and reduce the corrupting influence of special interests on our politics.

    Again, congress is going to stop this one.

    It's easy to be a critic :)

    But seriously some of this is just stating the obvious. I have listened to interviews of several republican senators that supported Trump that refused to answer questions about a lot of these issue because they oppose them and don't want to say it on record.

    We have seen a lot of obstruction in government under Obama and on a lot of these issues, that will continue.

    EDIT - Thought it was directed at me, it wasn't. I'll leave it to avoid confusion though.

    I see. So, pointing out that your critique actually described Trump's business practices upset you. You didn't dispute the accuracy, you pitched a fit. In other words, you didn't like the comparison you created and you're taking it out on me. Isn't that special.

    Yes, you seem so open minded with your tantrums and insults against those trying to have a mature discussion. Good for you.

    Ha ha... Trumps tweet/rants in final days before election. Ooops ! Sorry, this is from 2012. The irony nevertheless holds. My favorite:

    "The electoral college is a disaster for democracy" :D.

    p.s. and he's absolutely wrong about Obama losing the popular vote

    Actually he doesnt seem clueless at all. If anything it's you...

    I'd leave it there before you dig yourself a bigger hole. He might come across as abrasive but if you read what he says it's decently put arguement.

    And actually if some of you do look back in this thread he did say many times that he didnt like both candidates and Trump was the greater of two evils.

    Quite a lot of people were not into either candidate but time will tell if the people who didnt vote perhaps should have voted for Hilary.

    If I was a US citizen the comment he made re women and the fact I dont like his style and choice of women might have swayed it :) (but to vote for Hilary...mmm maybe not).

    (but then again us men we all know what it's like in the locker room but I certainly never disprespected any woman and any guy coming out with that **** I'd tell them straight to zip it. Well depending on the size/number haha).

    p.s and this comes from a guy who once copped several smacks in the mouth from guys when defending a woman! Luckily it was only bruises and ripped t-shirts not a broken tooth.
