http://steamcommunity.com/app/403640/discussions/0/217690940938414557/ Caution of terrible performance? gtx 970 http://steamcommunity.com/app/403640/discussions/0/217690940938698135/ "HBAO+ turned off, running smooth at 60+fps with no issues at all. I am still at the start though, right inside the palace." So maybe not, just turn down settings
Neogaf performance thread http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1310955&page=2 Also, the game is unlocked now in asia/aus/nz, if you use vpn gate you can unlock now
Already unlock here..So far so good. It has good Ultrawide Support and has FOV adjustment. No SLI profile for this game at the moment but averages 74-80 FPS on a 1080 @ 2101.
Ye, in the throne room, 1080p ultra 36 or so fps, very low 52 fps. Like, I expect 60 on v low at least. Also yes it stutters even at 60fps, frame pacing isn't good. I think you need to force vsync from drivers
Ok, it seems to be setting the cpu priority to low as soon as you get the horrible lagging texture streaming. We need some way of overriding that.
Isn't this using id5 Tech, the same engine that powered the sublime 2016 DOOM? If so then surely this game should be running like a dream on PC considering how beautiful that game ran (and looked) even at launch?
Doom is ID6 Gamegpu review http://gamegpu.com/action-/-fps-/-tps/dishonored-2-test-gpu lol runs like crap xD
Not exactly. The Evil Within still uses idTech5, even though they removed MegaTexture and replaced the lighting and physics engine. The Void Engine (behind DisHonored II) is actually based off of idTech6. With large parts of the engine completely rewritten, switched to DX11. Seems they actually broke away from id Software's updates for the engine some time ago and reworked enough of the tech that it's no longer really idTech.
did anyone preorder from greenmangaming? and get a Dishonored 1 key? if so.. let me know.. I haven't recieved one.. as was advertised, wondering if it comes in a different email or something.
I got it right when I placed my pre-purchase. It was at the bottom of the page after I finalized my purchase. And then, I received an e-mail thanking me for my purchase, and the key for the Definitive Edition was included in that e-mail as well.
Status quo is that (almost) all pc games are released broken. The thing to do is see release date then tack on 1-2 months before purchasing. Glad I have DX:MD to finish yet as well as Witcher 3 & Fallout 4 (re-started from beginning with both of these) and MGS 5.
