AMD Announces Radeon Pro WX4100, WX5100 and WX7100 Graphics Cards

Title should read "AMD Announces Radeon Pro WX465, WX470D and WX480 Graphics Cards"

 

I really like the blue color they are using. Not sure why, but I do.

 

It's a kind of blue that was researched or something like that. A shade that didn't "exist" before.

 

I still like better the Firepro red cards.

 

Jeeepers! I didn't know you can spin a $239 gpu (RX480 8GB) give it a new name, throw a new cooler on it and slam it with a $799 price tag.

 

You never heard of Quadro? Workstation cards have been around for like 15 years now.

 

NVidia does it regularly with their Quardo line... Where have you been? That additional cost covers extended support, increased driver testing, etc. It costs more to support professional graphics cards. The professional market doesn't allow the same kind of mistakes that the consumer market does so the drivers have to be more thoroughly tested.
