For people who prefer nVidia Update instead of GeForce Experience

    This trick worked in 372.70 but in 375.70 the installer refuses to install the NvBackend and registry entries to make the magic happen.

    Maybe the script to make the magic happen needs to be updated?

    Maybe NvBackend.exe isn't in the package anymore...

    I'm back at 337.88 for now.

    It may work but not as intented by this thread. The purpose is in the headline: "For people who prefer nVidia Update instead of GeForce Experience".

    Your solution obliterates updates which is not the objective here.

    So, have anyone figured out how to make NVBackend.exe run at startup instead of GEForce Experience please post...

    this did not work for me drivers install failed start way in initial post works though.

    Well it said nvidia update was installed i dont see it nvcp though

    Tried your way 2nd time this time it worked nvidia update says its installed I see new tasks running at start up, but I not seeing what image you show with the update settings
