Managed to play about 3 hours (conquest only) and it still is all that much fun as it was in the BETA. Got onto the armor train on that small desert map and had a 40+ killstreak with the driver mortar. That was insane lol.

edit - I see now that preoload is up, but I already have the trial ~47GB, I don't see any download button either. So does it count that I have it preloaded or do I have to uninstall the trail version first? :3eyes:

No you don't have to download anything. Click on your pre-ordered version of the game and you will see it says somewhere "Pre-loaded".

So you're good. Anyone who pre-ordered then downloaded the trail have already downloaded the entire game, it will unlock on the 18th.

The trial is the retail version(without dayone patch) it just users a different .exe

    the game uses bf1Trial.exe

which nvidia/amd drivers is probably not picking up on.

performance is better than the alpha and beta for me but both of them ran pretty great too (alpha was quite rough though)

With the Dx11 CPU bottlenecks and my 670's I'll be waiting for DX12 SLI Support.

Damn, got kicked immediately after the 10 hours mark. Was a blast though, made it to rank 20, and this time at least I won't lose my progress (got like rank 50 in beta).

I'm pretty sure I'll play the **** out of this game for the foreseeable future. It's still early, but for me this is the best BF game since BFBC2 (I know the old veterans don't count BFBC2 as a "true" BF game, but it was by far my favorite)!

The latest drivers are set to pickup the trial exe.

Open up nvcp its in the list of exe that the profile will recognize.

Recorded all my gameplay from BF1 early access with shadosplay and had no issue at all. (4K, 70Mb/s)

Fair play, I'll remove that as it's superseded by a full driver update anyway :)

Yes but there are many who had no issue in the Alpha or Beta with Shadowplay enabled and are now having huge dips unless they disable, this is just information I've gathered from Reddit, Official forums etc.

Obviously not definitive but might help.

Same with Game DVR in Windows 10 which is enabled by default from the start. Some people report that it causes FPS dips here and there. I use it for background recording and haven't noticed any performance dips cause by it. I guess it really depends by your system.
