In fact, it seems to be the AMD GMI-link. (Global Memory Interconnect ), that we have allready heard about more than 1 year ago, so should be close to be ready. Core specification covering the architecture and protocol will be finalized in late 2016. I did notice Intel was missing from the list, thought that was odd. Seems a huge company like that would want input. Nvidia should care too. Sorry to hear that's apparently typical.

Lol, or maybe just that Intel can't make any money off licencing it to others and so doesn't want to put any resources into helping develop it
