I hope, that it is a somewhat easy fix, but still - not providing review copies before the release as not a good sign. Will wait for a sale to buy it for 4-5 euros(if they fix the framerate and I have the funny feeling, that there are going to be other serious issues).

P.S. Hilbert, I think that you didn't have your coffee, when you wrote the article :)
"Apparently even the developers where baffled about the cap whioch makes you wonder..."

    P.P.S. Apparently so didn't I - 5-th edit of this message... sigh...

    Some of those as well
I think he was rage typing, hence the mistakes .

Yeah, this is crap. How can company not bloody realize the PC version had a 30FPS limit?

Something gets my spidey senses tingling about this game. I think we're heading for another Arkham Knight. I imagine it'll be good in a few months, but before then us PC goers will have to put up with a lot of sh1t.

"Retarded cap" - that is not the wording I expected from a tech site. :)

Sometimes you just need to call things what they are, a 30 FPS cap for a game developed for the PC is just that, retarted. I mean, how as a developer can you be so disconnected from the PC community ?

Nothing wrong with the use of the word here. People take offence at such a word due to not knowing its meaning. Previous games released with such a cap were met with pitchfork wielding PC gamers.

The console masters Microsoft and Sony force game distributers to behave in this manner, too many console owners complain about their game being Poor Quality when they see it on a friends PC, they just assume the game should be just as good on the console and bombard the help desks with complaints.
It's the whole promotion of consoles as "spectacular awesome gaming platforms" when they are just low end elcheapo PC's.

If you're on nvidia and want to make the game at least tolerable until the patch comes out, use profile inspector and 1/2 vsync (60Hz) or 1/4 vsync (120Hz) and set the frame limiter value to 30FPS (v2).

It will still be crap, but more like crapballs dipped in white chocolate. Only slightly better.

I was just thinking the same. Weird huh? Seems that's the trending this year.

Remember now... 30fps is more "cinematic"...

This !!! + They are expecting to hear what options are important for PC gamers??? Aren't the developers supposed to be the driving force behind innovation in the field, setting the bar higher and higher, not lower and lower??? And what is more annoying is that after such fiascoes in any other business heads would roll. In pc gaming, I never hear about anything of the kind.
There is probably just a PR specialist somewhere in a dark room, seriously considering career change.

Was going to purchase but held off. Thank goodness I did. The utter disregard for anything approaching quality control is astonishing.

If I buy this, it will be at rock bottom price in a sale, if even that....

Game dev can't say it more clear: we made a great effort to provide the same "console experience" across all platforms...

It's hard to believe but the PC game version is already cracked and "torrented"...BEFORE Steam release. :3eyes:

Aye but they will be playing at 30 fps too and I wouldn't play a game like that even for free.

BTW I thought 'retarded' was more appropriate than 'dumb' in the original news item.
