For me it's the Kodi interface flickering when using MadVR. I haven't really used it extensively enough with the new driver and MPC-HC.

 

Update: I was able to recreate the issue of video locking up when resizing the playback when using DX9. In fact, my system quickly becomes unusable, as it eventually locks up. *applauds*

Using DX11 path works just fine.

 

Hmm im using MPC-H.Cine+MadVR for HEVC mkv with ATMOS and it runs flawlessly

I use K-Lite Codec Pack and I've never had a single issue with it, all I do is playback but everything has always worked effortlessly no matter what the file type!!

 

^Nobody here complained about K Lite Media Pack, btw.

Interesting so see someone who likes to tweak so much using a bloated Codec Pack.

Wow, please, tell us how you do it.

 

Just set your desired config in CRU 1.299.p2 and restart, if no luck just go into safe mode and Hit Reset-ALL in CRU folder

 

I did it.
I mean, when you say "set your desiered config", you mean to set my Hz?
I set it to 65 which is the most which is the most my display supports but FreeSync is still not active

Any suggestion?

If it's running in Windowed mode.. it's not FreeSync.

and if FS not working in Borderless its obsolete.
But when i play FC4 (you have in it some Cinematic Mission briefing) and this Cinematics always runs at lowered FPS than game itself, Here i've noticed This Freesync smoothness.
So IMO it's working

Here proof, working FS in Full screen on my CRT (but i have to set 60-120 lowest Hz on my CRT is 50)
So everybody need to look into Monitor spec and set everything in Order to have FS Working !

HDMI Support, Colorimetry, Video Capability, HDMI 2.0 support, etc.

 

Freesync can't work unless you have a monitor controller that supports variable framerate. You're just unlocking a meaningless toggle in the driver panel. The only thing I imagine it might do is force some kind of weird frame pacing stuff from the driver, but I'm not even sure about that even.

 

I tried the Windmill Demo on a Friend's PC. His screen blanks out the moment it tries to switch from 60 FPS to 55 FPS. But maybe we're on to something. :v

Besides i don't need FS for CRT, CRT have no tearing/slicing etc.
But the Gameplay is a lot better now when this Baby is ON...

 

CRTs have tearing if VSYNC is off. If there are differences, it's in the driver. Can you run a repeatable benchmark with the setting on and off, and send the frame data from FRAPS?

 

Onna, aren't you using an active adapter for your monitor? If so then the results will vary anyway since you have DAC processing going on.

 

FRAPS don't work for Win10 on my setup :bang:

But i will continue with FS ON, so far is OK
Im just happy.

I like FC4 with FS ON -> here i can tell that this acually working for me
I will try R6 Siedge today.
I have FS set to 60-120 now any other setting not working and i have screen shake.
