There are bound to be bugs, hence the word "beta". If you find some report them to Unwinder and he'll see if he can reproduce and then fix them. Coming across in a complaining/bitchy tone doesn't help. If you want a stable version go back to 4.2.0.
The only buggy thing in your case is your skill, sorry. And no, your "valuable" feedback doesn't sound even close to something useful that could be reported by other real software developer.
Seeing that the name contains timestamp, it is rather easy to guess that the last part is milliseconds.
Report them to Unwinder? Who would ever put themselves on that chopping block? I'd rather just never overclock anything ever again.
is the V/OV limit a "Nv given" limit (what i assume), or from the card maker? my zotac 1070 amp hits V-limit even with stock clocks.
Seeing voltage limit hit at stock clocks with any card is absolutely normal and expected. Most likely you're misunderstanding the meaning of it. GPU Boost cannot increase voltage/clocks boundlessly, by displaying that the limit is hit GPU Boost is just informing you that neither thermal nor power budget is reached and no further clock/voltage increment currently possible because of reaching maximum GPU voltage (defined by GPU leakage level, aka ASIC quality).

I do understand the meaning of it, just surprised how a custom board 1070 with 10 phase power (two 8pin; i know, doesnt really make a difference) and proper cooling (2x 100mm fans, cpu is LC with heat dumped outside the case), hits the limit already at stock clocks (1607/1797). especially, since all cards (incl founder) are still able to reach higher clocks (with manual ocing) without increase in V. since im still able to return the gpu, i just wanted to know if this is a general limitation (set by Nv and/or chip "lottery") or something that "only" gets affected by the card design (hence might differ by brand).
That's how it is. Every gpu hits voltage limit at default clocks, was the same with your old Fermi too.. Zotac did a factory OC with certain voltage limit, there is some extra OC left with stock voltage, but you have to manually OC to find its limit.. *For example my old 780gtx factory OC was 1084mhz@ 1.162v, but had extra OC up to 1162mhz. This 980ti now is the same 1342mhz @ 1.187v, manual extra OC up to 1430mhz. Btw GP104 chip is limited to 2-2.1Ghz no matter what.
Because maybe he's the one that develops the software and that is the whole point of an open beta? MSI only slaps their logo and pays for features, but they don't develop the application. If you feel that you're on the chopping block there's many other applications that you can use to OC if you don't want to deal with Unwinder.
This update brings more cpu usage overall. It used to be around 80-95% while driving on GTA5, but it's now constantly 98-100% for all cores of my 4570. Reverted back to 4.2.0 and confirmed it.
