Oh, ok. Mantle had been crashing for me and a lot of people since May or something so I didn't think to check back in July.

Yep, says September 13th now instead of September 7th for the file name of the installer.

    EDIT: A quick file comparison.

    .\Config\CIMManifest.xml and .\Config\InstallManager.cfg

    Installmanager.cfg

    September 7th
    BuildVersion=16.40.2011-160907a-306711E

    September 13th
    BuildVersion=16.40.2011-160907a-306790C

    .\Packages\Drivers\AMDPSP\WT64A

amdpsp.msi is newer in the September 13th drivers.

    .\Packages\Drivers\WDM\HDMI\WT64A

    AtihdWT6.msi is newer.

    .\Packages\Drivers\Display\WT6A_INF

C0306790 for the .msi, .cat and .inf file instead of C0306711

Comparing the .inf shows these GPU models (?) have been removed.

No luck with 16.9.1 Fix 13 sept. Can't install driver :bang:
    Reverted to Stable & Great 16.9.1 Sept.9 WDDM 2.1
My Score in 3Dmark P rised ~760 points on same settings, so Fury Still improves (we need now ~25-35% more to get Full Fiji Potential)

Please make some Tests in new WDDM 2.1 using Hawaii/Tonga/Fiji & of course New Polaris
Some early benchies in Polaris +10% Performance compared to earlier drivers, so its good :)

Please peak into my Thread for surprise

It installed fine here although as with 16.9.1 there's some momentary display corruption when the second Windows 10 boot logo appears just before it transitions to desktop / lock screen though I am unsure if it's fully a driver issue as I don't know how much of the display driver is actually loaded at that point.
(Bios and up to the first boot logo with the Windows flag is fine and then it loads to the second logo - the one without the flag, where it initiates various devices such as sound card, keyboard+mouse and of course the GPU. - and there's about a second or two where there's some light display corruption before it transitions to the lock screen / desktop UI.)

Tested various games and other ways to stress the GPU and everything is stable once it's fully booted to desktop so I don't know, going to keep it in mind but it's probably mostly harmless. (Famous last words? :p )

(And well not that I see it happening but if it does crash a 480 would do until mid-2017 or whenever the next GPU model is actually released, or possibly something from Nvidia perhaps as it's been while since I used one of their GPU's now but they are less stocked from a quick check.)
(EDIT: Yeah the 1060 is pretty much at the exact same price point as the 480 now with the 1070 at about double of that and then the 1080 for some 50 - 60% more still depending on model.)

(Roughly 2500 SEK for a 480 or a 1060 and then 5000 SEK for a 1070 and 7500 SEK for a 1080 with some variance depending on vendor model and VRAM amount.)
(EDIT: They're not very stocked but the Fury seems to sit at around 4500 SEK now.)

So i just installed 16.9.1 hotfix sep13, so far so good. I've noticed driver is 100mb+ larger than 16.9.1 sep7 and its also missing a raptr (maybe they finally realized no one is using that crapware)

A lot of people using it, but IT IS CRAPWARE.

Maybe they realize they need something better than this.

    lets hope so.

As as user who started using Raptr from beta days, I agree with you. Current state of Raptr is like a crapware. The functions that community once loved are left out and out of date for like 2 or 3 years.

At first it was Xfire, until it was sold and from that point started going downhill. Now there is Raptr, it started strong and it seems that it is going the same path as Xfire.

Fun fact, Xfire and Raptr was founded by almost the same group of people.

Updated Win 10 a few days after installing 16.9.1 and windows ran in a loop at start up. I could not even attempt a repair. Ended up having to do a clean install of win 10 updated then installed 16.9.1. No problems now. Not sure if others are experienced issues with Win 10.

Seems they have separated Raptr from the drivers.

It is interesting that they removed Raptr from the package. I would actually be happy if they kill it completely and let Japamd go back to working on RadeonPro. Then again the guy needs money to live...

They could pay him to keep RadeonPro up to date.

Well, I am very glad to see that they removed Raptr.

On both my Precision M4600 with a FirePro M5100 and on my desktop with an ASUS Strixx R9 390, Raptr was causing 3dMark to terminate the tests with an error that said that the test had been aborted by the user.

First time I have seen issues like that. Not sure how in the world the missed something like that.

Speaking of which... I forgot to disable it on my desktop and I am betting that is what is causing other games to freak out randomly (Warframe for sure screen locks every once in a while).
