    Haven't played modded Watch_Dogs since early 2015.

Came here because of the PCGamer article. Mod looks amazing, and the installation looks far simpler than TheWorse mod from back in the day. Glad to see you've taken his work (and that of others) and really made something interesting.
    Cheers!

Thanks bud! Which article is that, by the way? Mind pointing me to it?

Added a new version (Slow Dry) in which it doesn't rain during clear weather but the roads remain wet and reflective for long periods. Thanks to txgt for suggesting this.

So, your shots look amazing. I have an issue, though, I can't get this damn thing to run at even close to 60. Can you tell me how you have your settings configured? I should be able to run this on a 1070, despite how badly optimized the game is... Do i need to do control panel tweaks or XML **** to get it to run right?
append this to the end of youtube for the video i did on the performance to give you an idea of the stuttering I"m getting. Thanks! /watch?v=0fGTAxL4buo

For screenshots I use max settings, but with low framerates. There aren't any performance tweaks that I know of, the best thing you can do is lower settings.
For actual gameplay, I leave everything maxed except I lower the AA and the Level of Detail settings and I can get 50-60 fps (with occasional drops to 40s) at 1080p.

****ty that I can't even really hit a constant smooth framerate on a card better than the titan x, lol. Thanks for the input though, i never tried lowering level of detail. Thanks for all your hard work on this though, makes it look prettier than like GTA V or something in some situations. Impressive what you managed to do with the (****ty) engine

What windows? Does it work if you don't use the sweetfx/reshade files (just the patch files)?

Alright so I guess the problem is with sweetfx? I'm not sure why it wouldn't work on windows 7, but maybe try the reshade version instead (this is what I put in the windows 10 versions, but it should work on windows 7 as well):

Just extract all the files to your bin folder. Remember to try renaming the dxgi.dll to d3d9.dll or d3d11.dll if it doesn't work either.

Welp Reshade works perfectly fine game runs great, but doesn't look greatly improved like your screenshots and videos show.

Have you done a proper comparison? Read the "IMPORTANT" section in the OP and try to recreate any screenshot (or a scene from my videos) with this information. If you still think it's wrong then post your attempt and I'll see if I can help.
If you are trying to recreate a cloudy scene, check the "known issues" about gamma. Also make sure your in-game brightness is at default, which is 50.

I figured out my issue was that the videos/screenshots were 1080p and up but my monitor can only go up to 1600/900

Thx for the help game still looks better than vanilla :D
