    Sli Works great in DX11
    Sli Not working DX12

    --------------------------------------------

under DX12 the game even with 1x980TI runs great @2560x1440
    everything on ultra
resolution scale on default....50% ? if you wack this setting up to 100% past 50% on the slider you will add super sampling, you will be in a world of hurt lol and it will almost half your frames.

    ---------------------------

    game runs between 70-90-100+ fps
    does not drop under 70fps....

thats in dx12.... i hope to god we get a sli profile for dx12 then we can wack up the internal resolution :)

42% Res scale is default. For some reason they chose 42% to be native. 50% will upscale.

Really? That confused me, I cranked it to 100% and got 35fps, had to settle for 80% for 60fps

    Explains the performance hit lol

Plug2k, are there performance advantages for maxwell with there Dx12 over D11?

Might be dumb question, an OT but when is open beta start.
As I went to other day to sign up and said it was closed, a little bit confusing to me.

Also to get beta key do you have to preorder the game?

It's just mislabelled, 42% is actually 100% and anything after that is upscaled.

You can check with Render.DrawScreenInfo 1 in console ~

Also for some reason if you change the slider, then it bugs out, you have to reset video settings for it to go back to native, setting 42% manually won't work.

I restarted the game when I changed the slider because I was going to try DX11, then found this thread saying 42% was 100%, so booted back into it, changed the slider again and DX12 and had to restart the game for DX12 to activate anyway, worked fine next time I loaded the game up

No, I don't mean like that, it saves 42% just fine, but it's not rendering to the correct res as it should(was blurrier). The only way I've found to fix it is to press reset video settings and then just leave the slider in its default postion

Hmm, didn't look blurry to me, might reset it anyway see if I notice a difference, but it looked fine, nice and sharp even after playing with the slider

Same here. Around 130 fps, no crashes, no artifacts, no troubles on dx11.

I didn't update to the latest driver but in DX11 i get around ~60-70% GPU usage on each GTX1080 and in DX12 SLI doesnt work.

    SLI doesnt look optimized yet.

The 372.70 disables SLI in BF1 beta. They said there were problems with SLI (blurry shadows on bushes, etc), so they disabled it entirely. I though SLI looked fine with the previous driver until I played with it disabled .

well it runs at 4k 60 fps on Ultra here with DX12 enabled on the latest drivers 372.70. Seems a little low, Is that good? I have a feeling once I upgrade to Zen things should be quite a bit faster. Well in the meantime, hopefully speed gets better. I like first person shooters at a minimum of 90 fps. But I am also now really liking my 4K setup and older games running at 8k as well.
