Okay... you killed your own myth I guess. Who claimed it was even close to a GTX 980ti? That makes no sense at all.

What are ou trying to prove? that is an overclocked card, obviously is closer to his stock high end counter part, but in the video isn't, even the 980 is more closer to the 980ti than the 1060 oced, the 1070 oced get's close to the 1080 stock, the 980 oced get's close to the 980ti stock and 1070 stock, don't beliebe me? chek this:

that's doesn't mean the 980/1060 is better than the 980ti/1070,so your argument is stupid you can oc those cards too.

    Pointless video and clickbait title.

Overclock the 980 Ti and it's sometimes between a 1070 and 1080, Most reviews have shown this.

Maxwell owners won't really need to upgrade until Volta hits, Then we will see an actual difference worth talking about.

28nm is the end of a Chapter, ofcourse a Low-End 16nm is going to perform well.

980ti is faster on stock than 1060 at 2ghz. OK

Overclocking 980ti close to 1500mhz it would beat 1060 by a quite a larger margin.

And that silly video was only made at 1080P.
Try retesting at 1440P or 4K, and the 980 Ti will crush a 1060 easily.

    ?

    Depends on the game really.
GTX 690 is a single slot SLI card, and would be more powerful in most older DX9 games with forced SGSSAA etc.
GTX 960 is a cheap card, and only has 128-bit memory bandwidth.

    Cheap will always be cheap.
    This also applies to 1060.

Even a max Oc'ed 1070GTX lags behind once 980TI goes over 1400Mhz+ how can 1060GTX do it? lol

Maybe in some older dx11 games but any newer game will favor 1070.

Gamegpu showed that in Deus EX MD running on a dx12, 1070 pulls 10fps more than 980ti.

Yes stock 1006mhz boost up to 1200mhz in best case scenario.. Usually stock boosts to ~ 1163mhz. Like I said 1400mhz+ and its left behind, only MAX OC 1070GTX 2050mhz+ can cope with that.

  17. The newer the game the more benefits 10060 will carry.

Regardless, it is a much weaker GPU than the 980Ti. Congrats you got some clicks.

  19. lol, the salt from Ti owners.

Ti will still be a good med to high settings 1080p card, rivaling 1060. Not sure why people are upset :0

Go on mr salty, how can this catch up stock 980TI or even 1070GTX for that matter??

    Max OC 1060GTX @ 2050MHz and it gained 2fps from 52 to 54fps vs 70fps by stock 980ti & 1070GTX. No rivaling there.. Just 1070GTX rivaling it.

    For comparison @ 1080p 980Ti 1420MHz gets 128fps vs 1060GTX 80fps, 1070GTX 109fps, 1080GTX 133fps says it all where it stands, no?
