Even without OC(not sure if that board can) that will be miles better than the FX. What country do you live in so i can look around for prices.
Definitely go for those if you can still cancel the order for AMD parts. Also like said get the non-K version of the CPU (with the H97 motherboard) to save a few bucks more.
US- shop newegg please, I'm lookinf for around $355 for CPU, Motherboard, and RAM. called customer service to see if this is cancellable... Thankyou for shopping newegg have an EGGcellent day ><.
So far I've only come across one single game that uses multiple cores well. And that is Rainbow Six Siege.
Then this cpu http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117561&cm_re=6600k-_-19-117-561-_-Product RAM, and perhaps buy another stick later http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...me=Desktop Memory&Order=BESTMATCH&isdeptsrh=1 And pick a motherboard from these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...cription=z170&bop=And&Order=PRICE&PageSize=30
Fx 8350 is an ok CPU, I ran one for a while but believe you me when I tell you once you go intel you will never come back lol, that sounds kinda wrong depending if your twisted Like I am haha anyway.....if you can try and pick up sky lake i3 or i5 you will be a lot happier in the long run,fx is way to old to be buying at this point in time.If you must stay amd then at least save some money and get a 8320e it's basicly same thing. I hate my ipod btw so excuse my French here.
I was looking at the 6600, except the 3.3ghz with the stock cooler- but maybe I could get that 3.5GHz and get an aftermarket one.
See this kinda pisses me off, In a way it looks like we are turning people away from Amd.This guy was just about to pull the trigger on a Fx until we jumped in.To a certin extent amd did it to themselfs not releasing anything to compete in the mid-range segment and taking forever to release Zen, its no wonder everyone's switching! Same thing with me I kept waiting and waiting, watching intel release new cpu's seems like on a weekly basis lol. I hope they can get there act together -Loosing a hell of a lot of sales guys. nz
Ok, cpu from AMD http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113347&cm_re=fx9590-_-19-113-347-_-Product You will probably need this PSU as well http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA6ZP4NC1434 What was the budget? $355? Then I guess I leave to others to figure out the motherboard and RAM. Edit: Oh, I forgot, you will need a liquid cooler for the cpu also.
I'm not pity-buying AMD's product just so they can do better. I'm not rich enough for that and I doubt op is either. If AMD made decent stuff this wouldn't be a problem.
No, should be fine for 1080P. You can always get an additional 15-20% performance if you flash a custom bios if performance isnt good enough.
Not at all. It should be fine at 1080p. Thing is that you can ramp any GPU in there and that 6600k will still be able to drive it.
^ looks good to me, only thing is the K processor is kinda pointless with the B150 chipset motherboard as you can't set the multiplier. http://ark.intel.com/products/90592/Intel-GL82B150-PCH But if the non-K version isn't notably cheaper then go for it!
